Mel was awesome, she went before me while I was checking in to check out my room, Room was Great and the best coffee in the world......Tim Horton!!!! the stay was great, everything was in my room, I even had a bath robe...Again Best Coffee ever!!! Tim Horton!!!

this little hotel is nothing but an absolute gem! we loved every minute of our stay! this is where you can enjoy southern charm at it´s absolute best and there is one person, who makes this whole experience extra special: Diane! very rarely have we met someone like her before, she´s just AMAZING!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Beachview Club!! We spent a bunch of time at the pool and at the fire pit at night. The grounds are beautiful. Everything is so clean, and the staff is so friendly and accommodating, especially Diane and Will. I love the small friendly vibe here vs a bigger resort. We can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I usually stay in Marriotts when we travel, but decided to stray from the path on this trip. Please trust me when I say that the cleanliness of the Beachview Club and the attentiveness of its staff is the best we've ever experienced. This is not a luxurious hotel. The facility is fairly old, but everything is in excellent condition, and the beds are among the best we've slept in. The grounds are manicured, and really do look like the photos in the ad. We received daily texts from the front desk, asking if we need anything...and if we did, it quickly appeared in our room. Our original reservation was for three nights, but we weren't ready to leave so we stayed an extra day. The beautiful expansive beach is just steps from the grounds, and the staff will provide an umbrella with 2 chairs for $50/day. The location of the hotel is close to everything, and we could reach anywhere on the island in about 10 minutes in our golf cart (rented from Red Bug Motors...also a great experience). Jekyll Island is a wonderful place and the Beachview Club made our visit even better. We're already planning our return.

Had a really nice week here, the facilities were slightly better than expected. The staff were extremely friendly as well. If I had any gripe it would be that the landscaping and grounds around the pool and office need a good cleanup and thinning. We saw snakes almost every day during our stay. Additionally the huge pool loungers have not been maintained and were full of leaves, debris and all sorts of critters when we moved the cushions and pillows.
Thank you so much for your review! We were pleased to exceed your expectations - we really did enjoy hosting you. We do try to maintain as much of the natural beauty of our location as is possible. Jekyll Island is a state park and as a result we have certain bylaws that we must observe in order to be good stewards of our portion of the state park and the creatures within.
Wildlife conservation is a large area of focus on Jekyll Island and we have our own wildlife response team. There are 15 species of snakes on Jekyll Island, 12 of which are non-venomous. As a partially developed state park on a barrier island we do occasionally cross paths with the wildlife. Of the 3 venomous snakes, two are rattlesnakes and the other is a cottonmouth. So far we have not encountered a venomous snake on property, however if we did then we would either call the Park Ranger or we would call the Wildlife Response team. I hope that knowing that we have planned ahead for many eventualities will put your mind at rest.
