Best Experience! If you’re looking for timeshare/vacation ownership Ask for Daniel Duque

My family and I came to the resort recently and fell in love with the location and amenities. We decided to look into the possibility of future ownership. We never thought before about ownership because we were honestly very scared. What would that mean, how could it look and would it be beneficial? So on a whim, we decided to sit down and chat with a rep. We were so thankful to have be assigned Daniel Duque, he walked us through the experience, the process and the pros and cons. We talked about our budget and what would be the best option for us. He was super understanding and really helped guide us from beginning to end. We are so pleased with our ownership and are excited to continue taking advantage of it in the years to come!!

Worst stay ever! Dog barking all morning at ridiculous volume! Housekeeping literally opened our door at 8:55am to come in completely ignoring the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the outside of our door when check out is not until 10am. I have NEVER encountered such lack of customer service in my entire life!!! They don’t care about their guests so don’t stay there is you value your relaxing sleep! The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are small but nicely redone with fabulous upgrades compared to other hotels; however this does NOT make up for the lack of customer service. When I made the manager aware, she discounted my concerns and stated that it was only housekeeping and not someone actually breaking into our room! All I can say is luckily for the housekeeper the latch on the inside of the door kept her from visiting the ER because coming into my room and starling us awake would have definitely been a problem for her. NEVER will I ever entertain staying there again as it is definitely not worth the price paid…

My husband and I used a bonuses certificate for this resort. We were in town the wedding of good friends daughter. We decided that the certificate was a better deal than a couple of nights in a hotel. We prefer a condo to a hotel. This also allowed us to work during the day and take advantage of the pool in the evenings.

We own a Marriott and generally trade all over the world so we have a pretty good idea of what's good and what's not so good.

The staff were all very friendly. The unit was was a two bedroom, which was was perfect, we each had space to set up computers.

The phone didn't work so calling guesthouse services, etc wasn't possible. The maintenance man came and looked at phone and said he would be back with a new phone in about 5 minutes... We checked out today... That 5 minutes turned into 5 days.

The bar was somewhat open later in the week however the wine selection was lacking.
We did have breakfast there one day. The eggs were a healthy portion as was the bacon and toast. Down to side.. These were all a la carte.

The little market had no low calorie choices and no fruit.

We sat in the hot tub a couple of times. The temperature was nice but the jets were not very strong.

As my title stated, this place served its purpose. We would not come to back... We are not Orlando types.

We appreciated the front desk service! Overall we had a nice stay during a slow period, just as school was back in session. We came to the area for a wedding and some fun at disney. We got an upgraded room to the 15th floor of tower B. Room was nice, clean, well stocked, although our hot water in one of the two bathrooms did not work (but the other one did and we did not need two bathrooms!). Nice view of Orlando, not so nice of the nearby water pond. Hotel was quiet and ample parking with security. Close to Universal but not too far from Disney. Plenty of nearby restaurants and shopping. Did not try the food nor the pool/hot tub. Internet was fine and washer/dryer in the room was a huge plus.

Very disappointed with Westgate. Queen bed not a queen,twin smaller than usual.
No alarm clocks or blowers as stated on website.

Tv in one bedroom not working kept blacking out.

Also when I brought into Westgate I was told I could use the amenities in other resorts not so now,

Not enough plugs to charge our electronics. Even the cheapest motel provides tthem.

Room tip: Don’t stay here

Staying at the newly renovated Westgate Palace. The room is nice, lots of white marble in the kitchen area, and super clean. The elevators are really rough looking, like a freight elevator. What annoyed me the most was after checking in, a woman grabbed my keys and demanded I go to her desk to talk about seeing a presentation and buying tickets. I was soaking wet and my family was waiting in the car for me, in a rain storm with lightening and thunder, and I said no, I’m not interested. She asked why. I said I’m not interested and my family is waiting for me. She gave me a nasty look. We grabbed some snacks from a vending machine in the lobby and went up to our room to wait out the rain. I wish I had stayed at the other Westgate resort in the area. We accidentally went there first and it seemed like it had so many more things to do.
