I'll start by addressing some of the issues that have been raised as negatives by others. Yes, the decor is a little dated and the carpets were a touch worn. That being said, the apartment was very clean and well appointed. Besides which, we just wanted somewhere to stay for a fortnight - we weren't looking to move in permanently!
This was a great base for us while we were visiting Universal Studios and the various Disney parks. With a fully operational, well-stocked kitchen and a pleasant living room area, it was a great home from home while we were there. The two bedrooms were a good size and it was lovely having two bathrooms too.
The resort itself had lots to do. There were four pools, of which we used two. They were both great, with plenty of sunbeds and a good amount of shade. There was a small mini golf course and shuffleboard courts, as well as a games room. They also have activities planned through the week for kids, although we didn't use these as we were mostly there for the parks.
Within a short walking distance, there are loads of restaurants - my partner was particularly keen on Steak and Shake, and my son adored IHOP. The Dollar Tree around the corner was great for stocking up on cheap drinks and snacks.
There are daily complementary shuttles to Universal and Disney. The times were a bit limited, but it was only around £10 for an Uber when they didn't suit us. The shuttle drivers were friendly and helpful, and we never waited more than 5 minutes for an Uber.
We only had limited interactions with the front of house staff as we didn't need much, but they were very polite and friendly whenever we spoke to them. I would happily recommend this resort to friends and family looking for a peaceful base from which to explore Orlando.

Great place to stay. Super accommodating personnel. Cozy, and spacious living suites. Awesome amenities. Plenty of activities on the property to please all. A real hidden gem in Orlando, close to everything.

I recently stayed at the property with my family. Everything from the accomadations, to the amenities on the property was fantastic. My nieces loved the pool! It is conveniently located to most major attractions and you can easily get to other less popular attractions. Anthony at check-in was wonderful!

We stayed here for 2 weeks for our family holiday. What an amazing resort. The customer service was superb. Nothing was too much for them. If you needed anything the front desk staff would sort it immediately and then it would be done. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. Our room contained a washer and dryer and this really helped. There was a massive fridge and freezer so trips to Walmart helped us stock up on food and drinks. This really helps keep costs down taking your own drinks and lunch into the parks. The main pool was great. Lovely to go into after coming back from a long day. Open till 11 so great for getting a bit more time in the pool once back from parks. It is also in a great location. About 15 minutes from Disney and 20 from Universal so very central. International drive is close as well but about 2 minutes walk away there are restaurants so no need to drive if you fancy a beer. We loved staying here. Rooms were clean. Staff amazing. Will definitely stay here again on our next American adventure. Finally, thanks to the staff. You were so amazing and helpful. A credit to the resort.

The resort is very very clean, the inside feels very homey( no need to rush home). We utilized the mini golf, two of the three pools and the hot tubs. We enjoyed the coziness of the screened in patio. We didn’t have to call maintenance or housekeeping ( which is good) We loved the lady security guard, she is very nice and easy to talk to (especially when a storm is brewing and she needs you to exit the pool). Needed to add a bit of humor there. Overall...5 STAR REVIEW !

Terrible! When I arrived at the hotel they didn't found the reservation and I needed to pay for 1 day. After I contact the hotel manager , they find but ..... the room was TERRIBLE ! Dirty, old, with mold, water infiltration and COCKROACHS !!!! Worst experience ever

WOW1 Thank you for your review. However, after investigation of this I found you never contacted anyone at the front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, sales etc. to make sure your room was either recleaned or moved at the very least. We show you did call for trash bags and a towel exchange which was completed, We wish you had contacted someone while in resort so any problems you encountered were rectified so you could enjoy your vacation and not leave a bad review of inaccurate information.
