The location is great and within walking distance to many attractions, (5 minutes to grocery and restaurants), 20 to Disney springs and 45 to outlets.
Our condo had a slight musty smell but otherwise it was clean and comfortable. The pool could have been cleaned out for the leaves more throughout the day however it was windy so we understood that they would blow back into it.
We had a baby with us and used a pack and play at the resort which was older and a bit wonky however we fixed it up easily with a blanket under the pack and play mattress.

You can't get any place better to stay when you want to be near Disney World. The price is great, you have a washer/dryer in your unit if you have a 2 bedroom, 2 baths. Or if you have a one bedroom, or aren't able to get one with washer/dryer, they have great laundry rooms throughout the resort. All units include a living/dining room and all have a full kitchen. 4 pools on property, basketball court, tennis court and other activities are available. The property is located within walking distance to a small shopping center that has several restaurants, drugstore nearby, WinDixie, ice cream shops. Disney Springs is within a mile or so. Makes a nice walk. Area is very safe. Oh the staff goes out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful stay. They are very knowledgeable about the area and things to do other than Disney.

We stayed here for 2 nights to be close to the Disney parks. We were a little worried based on some of the reviews, but found the room to be extremely clean, filled with all kinds of dishes and amenities you would need for cooking meals in the kitchenette, and great pools. There was constant maintenance and cleaning going on, lawn crews, security, and house keeping was always buzzing around on golf carts and taking care of any issues. Most importantly, this hotel is close to everything. From the Disney parks to shops & restaurants, it's really an ideal location.

I was there for a Wednesday through Monday stay. For some reason I had two reservations that no one was aware of. I feel like there could have been better communication on the part of staff regarding my two reservations. I'm still not exactly sure what that was all about. On Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. Security was knocking on my door, asking if I was aware of checkout time. I told them I was and that I wasn't checking out until Monday. He told me to clarify with the front desk. I called the front desk and was told that I would be charged a second $75 cleaning fee. On Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. Security was knocking on my door, asking if I knew it was checkout time. I have stayed at a fair amount of hotels and never once have I had this happen. I found it very rude. Front Desk did apologize for Security and did not end up charging me the second cleaning fee. I will not be staying there again.

Thank you for your candor regarding your situation with Security. that is not acceptable and our apologies. We contract out the security company and transportation company so we unfortunately do not have the authority over what they do but we do let their superior know of their treatment and daily work efforts. As far as the second reservation in question I would have to investigate since the travel companies send us their reservations directly by email to our office and I am the one who handles all the coordination of this. Our apologies if it was an oversight or the tour company never sent us the correct information. Thank you for this information and we hope you will give us another chance in the near future!

I recommend the executive 2 bedroom suite especially if you have kids Mom and dad can have their own room and kids can have another along with a sleeper sofa in the living room. It's a large suite with 871 sq.Ft. They offer free parking, Wi-Fi, shuttle service. The shuttle to universal studios is a straight shot no bus transfer it gets to the hotel at 7am and gets back to the park at 7:20 to bring you back. The shuttle to Hollywood Studios is a little trickier bus gets to hotel at 9:35 but takes you to magic kingdom where you catch a Disney bus to the park if the bus isnt there when you arrive it will be shortly. Then to get back to the hotel catch a Disney bus back to Epcot and the bus to the hotel leaves at 10:15 busses to Epcot run about every 15 to 20 min. After all that fun at Universal Studios come back and play a round of mini golf or play in one of 4 pools or parents relax in one of the 2 hot tubs. They don't offer breakfast but you have a full kitchen just like at home a full size frig, stove with oven, dishwasher and sink, dishes and cookware and utensils provided along with lots of counter space to prepare your meal. a dining room table and chairs to sit and have your meal.they also offer grills and tables and chairs by the pool if you want to cook outside. Close to shopping and restaurants if you are to tired to cook They offer a self service laundry and a game room to play in while your clothes get clean. Some rooms have a balcony and all rooms have free cable and DVD players. At the Blue Tree Resort you are only 5.6 miles to Hollywood Studios and 7 miles to Universal Studios should you decide to drive or catch a lyft or uber.I do say you should book early because not only does it fill up fast but it's cheaper. I use booking. Com for my hotel needs and undercover tourist to save money on park tickets. Happy travels.

Spent the Christmas Holiday with Family at this resort and the unit was very clean. We had an issue with the air conditioner on Christmas Day and maintenance came right away and repaired it. My only complaints are the TV’s in the bedrooms are super small like 19 inches and the WiFi was terrible. We didn’t use the pool or other facilities mostly due to the weather but for those who did indulged they seemed to have fun.

We booked this resort, two one bed apartments for a friend and we were very disappointed. When we arrived and saw the room we cancelled the week and did not stay. On arrival the staff were helpful and friendly but when we entered the apartment there was a horrible smell of mould and stale air and we had to immediately open the windows, but the smell did not go away. The furniture was old and carpet looked unclean, the pull out bed (leaving little space) was a cheap version and looked uncomfortable. The bath was stained. Bottom line the whole apartment needed a total refurbishment. In this day and age to see ash trays on the small balcony (if you can call it that) was the final straw. Why smoking is allowed is beyond me?. We went back to the reception and asked for another room but was informed that all the rooms were the same throughout the complex and we could not change. The staff seemed to understand our dilemma but could not assist, so we checked out. I cannot comment on the facilities as we never used them. I read other reviews and there are comments about the smell in the rooms which I concur with. The resort needs money spent on the rooms. I would not recommend to other travellers who require reasonable standards in accommodation. I hope the management can take on these constructive criticisms and improve the resort which has potential, due to its location to attractions.

We enjoyed our stay with Blue Tree. We had a spacious 2 bedroom on the the 3rd floor (no elevator). Our view of the pool was lovely, security guarded the grounds/parking lot well, and we really enjoyed our time here. It would have been a tad better if the rooms were updated, especially the beds (pretty old) and the A/C worked a bit better (also old), but the kitchens were well stocked, we had a lovely screened in patio, a washer/dryer, a large tub (which we didn't use because it was so warm outside), and a well-cleaned place. We rented a car because the complimentary transportation times to and from Disney would have cut our Disney days short. All and all, though.... it was a pleasant stay.

Thank you for your candid words on the review of your stay with us. For future reference you can always call the front desk/housekeeping to have either a new bed/mattress put in your existing suite or can move to a more suitable suite for your comfort. Glad the stay was overall good and we hope you will return to us in the future!

Let me begin this post, by indicating I am an owner at this resort. Therefore I hold the resort to high standard as I would want anyone to stay here to have a great stay. Let’s start with the good…resort appears well maintained outdoors and over the course of the pandemic there have been some upgrades to the indoors of some buildings which are beneficial. After this things go downhill…room keys demagnetized twice during stay. Especially frustrating when you are coming back from the pool and have no ID or any other information that they are asking you for at the front desk. Pool closures…this one is unacceptable. The large pool with splash pad has been closed for maintenance the entire stay, not a problem they appear to be making upgrades and there are 3 other pools on the property…that is until they decide to cut trees down and close a second pool for half the day now leaving you with only two pools one of which is not heated and the other which is on the complete opposite end of the resort. Last an probably most frustrating as an owner the complimentary bath products have been sourced by some company called Boardwalk now. The soap is like sandpaper and doesn’t even lather. I realize that in the scheme of things this is not a big deal its a time share you bring your own, while that’s true not everyone that stays here is an owner. In closing, this is still a great value resort with large accommodations, but there are definitely some things that need improvement.

Thank you so much for your candid review of the resort. I will ensure this gets to the upper management for their information so this does not happen again during anyone's stay. Sometimes we are at the mercy of our vendors etc. that they can only do certain projects certain times or else you may never see them again such as the tree trimmers for example. I know it is very frustrating sometimes and we cannot apologize more for this inconvenience. I will make sure our Housekeeping Manager is aware of your comments regarding the bath products as well. Thank you again and hopefully your next visit is perfect!

I booked our stay (2 bedroom/2 bathroom) through Armed Forces Vacation Club. Great experience. Blue Tree check-in staff was so friendly and helpful (seriously, the first nice people I met in Orlando). Pre-arrival I had sent an email requesting an updated room on the first floor or near an elevator. Both of my requests were met. I got a 2 bedroom, fully tiled room with a washer and dryer in the unit in building 10, next to an elevator (2nd floor). The room was clean, and all went well. On my 2nd day the light in the master bathroom went out, I called the front desk, and someone was at my room right at 8:00 am. Found out it was an electrical issue, they stayed and fixed it (replaced entire fixture) and was done with in 45 minutes. This allowed time for us to finish packing up to leave for the day. I didn’t request any new towels as I just washed the ones in our room in the washer and dryer. The location is perfect, not on a main road and quiet. The beds were comfortable. There is a grocery store just around the block. Very close to Disney. The only reason for a 4/5 rating is due to the terrible toilet paper (it’s like using paper). You’d be better off bringing your own or buying some when you get there. I would definitely stay there again!
