When we checked in, we got a phone call in the room from the front desk asking if everything was ok and if we needed anything! That never happens anymore.
Pool and Hot tub open 24 hours! Large room! Right next to Old Towne. Fun Pool Bar!

We stay at Comfort Suites Maingate East often. This is an EXCELLENT hotel. Very clean and staff is great. The location is the best. You can walk out the front door and enjoy all the entertainment of OldTown, Fun Spot, shopping, dining, etc. Once you get to this hotel you never have to get back in your car until you check out!

Very nice staff and our room was cleaned so well that it felt brand new. We stayed a week and was very impressed at the great detail staff went thru to clean each room. Pool area & bar were also nice and relaxing. Overall. the hotel was so clean and rooms were spacious. Highly recommended and will definitely stay again.

What's not to like? Great location less than 10 min to Hollywood Studios, free parking, 24 hr pool and hot tub (perfect after a late night in the parks), nice large room, very good breakfast with lots of options, clean, and friendly staff. And all at a fraction of what an on-site Disney resort room would cost, but with 2x the amenities - and no extra fees.

This place was a family favorite in past years. They were always friendly and clean. This last stay in July 2021 the place was very unkept, dirty to put it mildly. The pool had probably not been filtered or chlorinated this year, food floating in it, spit globs floating around, it was so filthy that I told my children no to swim and NOT to enter the Hot tub. Clorox on a rag to sanitize during COVID would help, but no surface had been wiped with any cleaners in days if not longer. Finger prints could be seen on every surface, dirty windows and broken door knobs. The carpeting was dirty and had a wet musty odor and the room was just as bad. The bathroom smelled of urine.
If this Comfort Inn does not shut down soon they sure need to step it up and clean it up. The plus was that the front desk manager Conway is always friendly, but he sure could use help in a town where not many want to work. The whole area of this hotel seems really run down for just 2 years ago. Prime location, could be great but it needs a lot of work.
In these trying times, affected as they are by Covid 19, we, like thousands of businesses around the country, are struggling to replace key employees let go during the resulting economic downturn. When operating with these less than optimal levels of staffing, some of our guests have experienced a reduced level of service previously unheard of at our hotel. Whether it is the reduced breakfast options, cleanliness issues or general staff responsiveness, I assure you that no one is more concerned with the issues you raise than my staff and myself and you have my assurance that we are working tirelessly to return the Comfort Suites Maingate East to the level of quality and service that make it one of Trip Advisor’s top 10 hotels in Kissimmee and a Choice Gold Award winning hotel.
