My friend and I recently stayed here on a 7 night trip from the UK to Disney. We got a really good deal on the Delta at Celebration as part of a package, but we were a little apprehensive, having read some previous reviews. If you're in the same boat, please be reassured that it's a perfectly good hotel - in fact, we actually rather liked it.

At the point of our stay - May 2023 - it felt that the refurbishments had been completed, and there was no disruptive work going on around the resort. As others have pointed out, the reception/bar area is impressive, and the pools (although we didn't have time to advantage of them) looked very inviting. Our room was clean, looked modern and had a refurbished bathroom. There was a fridge, lots of USB sockets, free water every day, and a good sized smart TV. We didn't spend much time at the hotel (didn't want to miss out on the magic!) but for a budget stay close to the parks, it's hard to find fault.

And talking of the parks - yes, there's a shuttle, but we found it even easier to just walk 5 minutes down to the main road where you can catch a Lynx service bus from Celebration Place. For just $2 (you need $1 bills!) you can get to the Transportation and Ticket Center in around 15 minutes. Just a shame there isn't a pavement/sidewalk to the main road. Also, if you're looking for somewhere to eat, just cross the 192 and there are various options - Applebee's, Panera Bread, Five Guys etc., as well as a Walgreens. It's a good location.

Was everything perfect? No - we did encounter a few minor problems, but nothing that couldn't happen in any other hotel. We did have to move rooms on the first day because the safe didn't work, but this was dealt with quickly, and the air conditioning was a bit on the noisy side.

On our previous visit to Orlando, we stayed on International Drive - but this location was much better for Disney, and the hotel was a pleasant surprise. We'd go back, and if you're looking for somewhere affordable near Disney, we'd definitely recommend it.
