This place is centrally located so you can go over to Sanibel/Captiva or Fort Myers Beach. Day one I headed over to Captiva to grab a slice of cake at the Bubble Room bakery! Then I headed to the beach. I asked for a late check out and the front desk was happy to accommodate me. The next day I ran over to the outlet across the street and found a couple great deals. Then off to the beach and dinner with family in Fort Myers. Very clean!

This hotel was so conveniently located for my trip. It's near the causeway to get to Sanibel, has outlet stores and nearby restaurants. Some of the restaurants are within a very short walking distance. There is also a Publix nearby.
I was able to do a online checkin, 24 hrs before I arrived. So upon arrival that process went quickly.
The staff at this hotel were all so very friendly and helpful.
My room was even better than I thought it would be. Comfortable king size bed and kitchen area with everything you might need. So glad to have a fridge that makes ice right in my room!
Enjoyed having the bathtub/ shower option.
The breakfast had many options, cold or hot, very tasty.
I enjoyed the pool in the afternoon, with plenty of lounge chairs and even a hot tub.

I have stayed in many Marriott properties throughout the US and Caribbean. This residence inn was fantastic! The hotel itself is well kept and the rooms were perfect with kitchenettes. We were able to grocery shop and feed the kids lunch and dinner everyday. The breakfast at the hotel was amazing. It had everything we wanted/needed. By far the best free breakfast I have ever found at a hotel. The hotel let us take 3 beach chairs for the week! And the pool area was great with tons of nice seating available. And pool toys/floats. The staff is phenomenal. Everyone was so helpful and kind. I’m mad at myself for not remembering names but the staff at the front desk from 5/21-5/26 were just top notch. They had 24 hour coffee in the hotel lobby which was so helpful. The hotel is right across from sanibel so it was easy to drive to the beaches. There tends to be some traffic getting across sanibel and captiva but it was so beautiful we didn’t mind. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. I’m shocked it was so little points to book. I can’t wait to come back.

This hotel was beautiful and clean. We had a king size bed with a living room area, a kitchen area, full size refrigerator, dishwasher and all supplies needed. You don’t need to bring shampoo or conditioner or body soap as they have a very nice selection available in the bathroom. Front desk staff were all very nice and helpful. The continental breakfast was huge. Selection of eggs, cereal, waffles , bagels, fruit, juices and coffee. All very good!! The whole place even smells clean! Also, so close to everything!

We spent a wonderful week with the gang at Residence Inn Sanibel. From check-in to check-out, a positive experience.
Every staff member encountered was professional, well groomed in uniform with name tags, sincere, pleasant, offered a greeting and aimed to please.
Yes, the hotel could use an update to new blue and gray RI color scheme with furnishings, but our room was clean and in good working order. The age is, indeed, showing a bit if you look closely.
Grounds were nicely maintained and hotel safely secured at night with lighting and key card entry after hours.
Common areas were regularly cleaned; floors, doors, elevator buttons, countertops, etc.
Did not use the gym, but it appeared to have been updated with newer equipment.
Was not in the pool, but saw maintenance company cleaning on a regular basis.
Furniture in the fire pit area a bit worn. Sport Court looked to have been recently refurbished and basketballs were racked for use.
Room to room and hallway noise minimal.
Plentiful bounty at breakfast. Would like to have seen some variation, as most of same items presented every morning.
Sad to see the lack of Residence Inn Mix on weeknights.
