We arrived at the Avania Inn on our USA round trip and we are vegans. Jamaru and Oswaldo did a great job. But not just them, of course also the whole hotel team, otherwise it wouldn't be so great! We stayed overnight from 22.05.2024 to 23.05.2024. We have stayed in many hotels but this one is great and we just have to rate it, which is why I took the time to rate it. Our following review here is honest and genuine, even if it may seem exaggerated to outsiders. Please always offer fresh fruit at breakfast, this is a great unique selling point and is healthy.
Our request for a quiet room, which we had made weeks before, was accommodated without us having to ask again at check-in (top organization).
Super large rooms, great facilities. Free parking lot. Super committed staff. We haven't seen such motivated hotel staff for a long time.
Breakfast: Incredible staff (Jamaru and Oswaldo) and uniquely clean breakfast buffet. Fresh, delicious strawberries that are replenished over and over again so that there is no shortage of vitamins. Please never remove fresh fruit from the breakfast assortment, but offer it as beautifully as you do now. This is cost-intensive but will make the hotel even more attractive and therefore even more economical. Jamaru and Oswaldo are highly motivated and responsible for breakfast. They were the ones who made the start of the day and the hotel breakfast first class, because in other hotels you find unmotivated staff. Thank you Jamaru and Oswaldo, keep up the good work! 👏
A great team that doesn't work alone but looks out for its colleagues. Everything is also replenished very quickly.
When we asked whether a food item at breakfast was vegan (potato pancakes), we were given the list of ingredients without having to ask. During our breakfast, several members of staff took care of the tidiness and cleanliness of the food throughout, even clearing our plates in between on request and asking if everything was in order. Very competent. There are great bagels, toast, bagged porridge, muesli, high-quality yogurts, coffee, fresh waffles to bake yourself. Really a very successful concept. The only small suggestion for improvement is to offer vegan margarine instead of just butter. An add-on would be to offer sliced vegetables such as tomato slices and cucumber salad to put on the bagel. To make the hotel more sustainable, we recommend switching from disposable crockery and cutlery to reusable cutlery, which is understandable from an economic point of view in terms of the need to wash dishes, but will also attract sustainable tourists to the hotel. This will attract even more tourists to the hotel for whom sustainability features are important.
We didn't use the outdoor pool and whirlpool, but they looked functional and great. The jacuzzi was in great use by people, so seems to be great.
