From the moment you get there this place screams mediocre, they are so far away from most things yet haven't spent much on any upgrades to make up for it. There's a cafe that serves the pool deck and we're done.
The concierge desk cannot help with anything, every time I asked the response was we didn't have access to that, you'll have to ask the front desk. The front desk was constantly overwhelmed. There was always more staff doing nothing at the concierge desk than front desk agents try to get something done.
There are laminate notes in the rooms basically apologizing for the terrible carpet, blaming it on the color, the color doesn't help with the feel or the fact that the padding is so worn that it is not comfortable to walk on barefoot.
The shower head only came up to my shoulder, I'm 6'2" (188cm) they tried to fix it by installing a fancy hand held wand and an oversized rain head, the wand just hits the rain head hand dribbles behind it.
This is a timeshare owners pay a maintenance fee some has been skimming it for years because none of it has been spent on maintenance.
The staff tries but the previous management didn't give them much to work with.
On a bright note the Canyon Spa is fantastic, Mary and her crew almost made up for a perfectly average week.
