We’ve been coming to this resort for at least 8 years, often twice a year so we clearly love it here. But this is night one and it’s been frustrating. The WiFi doesn’t work at all. We called the desk who referred us to their tech people but got a message and no return call. Despite our desire to have zero dealings with their notorious pushy sales team, they called out to us as we attempted to walk by and when we politely refused they actually chased us out the door. We love our 2 bed/2 bath units but when it had reached 10 pm and the kids were still screaming in the pool, we had to call the desk a second time (1st for WiFi failure) and ask they send someone to quiet down the noise. They responded , “ but the pool is closed”….uh right, so how hard is it to have security make the rounds at 10 pm nightly to ensure the “quiet time” policy is enforced. Oh and while the rest of the unit was clean, the microwave was dirty inside and hadn’t been wiped down.
I keep reading these same complaints over and over to which management replies, thank you for your review and we will share it with our team. Apparently not. Let’s see how the remainder of the week goes. At the rates we members pay, I think we expect a little more effort from the facility. At the very least can we expect some quiet by 10 pm at night? And NOT have to make a call to make that happen?
