My wife and I came into Studio 6 looking to stay two weeks because of the awesome amenities it offered like the 1 bedroom with full kitchen. Our first impression was not good the first few days. I do echo some of the other reviews with staff sleeping and be very lack luster. And there seemed to be a dark cloud over this hotel. Needless to say, the first week was not horrible but definitely a little sketchy. We has no issues with the housekeeping staff. They were always nice and asking if we needed anything. The morning front desk staff was always great.
THE TURN....The second second week we noticed the night staff had changed and started to see morning staff in the evening and management in the morning. This was the first thing we noticed in the change. This change was HUGE for the hotel. The front desk is the first impression and the first face you see. I can say the dark cloud seemed to be lifted. The housekeeping staff was still great and when we requested items it was brought to our room. I would definitely give this place my business again. It was great to see the turn around. I guess my HR background was at play...lol. I recommend this place. Walking distance to the beach, next to I-5 expressway, and the hotel amenities for the family makes it an awesome location. GOOD JOB ON THE TURN AROUND. And if you doubt my review, I can email anyone my receipts on staying here.
