I will start by saying, I’m not one to leave negative reviews but….

Pros- Pool, area/location, and decent price

Cons- We checked in on Tuesday. NO ONE came to offer clean towels, give toilet paper, dump garbage, etc until Sunday morning (the day we checked out). We literally had to go in search of these items. Spending hundred on a hotel, I don’t feel I should have to go searching for toilet paper or towels…. This is an older hotel. There was a musty smell. I tried not to investigate it. We opened our patio door each evening when we came back and left it open over night (we were on the second floor). I have no clue what kind of shampoo/conditioner it was but BRING YOUR OWN! It definitely did not do good things to my hair. (My husband, “I don’t know what that is, but it isn’t conditioner”- and he has minimal hair).

The few employees (check in, the lady came who came offering to clean the morning we checked out) weren’t “unfriendly”… but it just seemed to be lacking all the way around. Perhaps they are just short staffed? I don’t know, but it wasn’t the best.

I do wish h would have seen the reviews on this site before booking.

A much much older hotel. On our very first day the hotels AC unit went out, they tried to move us to another room only to find out that the AC tower for the whole resort went down and it was down for the 2 nights we were there. The front desk manager stated we would have our booking comp for the inconvenience however we had booked through Sam’s Club who refused to refund our booking charges even after we proved all the information from the hotel. I will never ever book anything through Sam’s club travel again and I would never recommend Sam’s club travel to anyone!

Does not deserve some of the negative reviews. And I am fussy so this is my honest review. Our room was clean, spacious with a great comfy bed and good bedding. We had a microwave and full size fridge., coffee machine. Plenty of good shampoo and conditioner and body lotion. Yes , it had a musty spell but being closed up during Covid won’t have helped. Also coastal properties do tend to be musty. We just sprayed a bit of perfume around and it was fine. The pool is great, warm and clean with nice surroundings. It’s good value. Don't be put off by other reviews. We loved the location and room. One negative is it is a bit dark in the ground floor rooms, could do with more lighting, but it’s not a deal breaker. Would certainly stay again.
