My stay at this beautiful property resort, Dreams Royal Beach, Punta Cana, from Mar 6-13, 21, was perhaps the best stay of all my international travels- period. I think it is important to note that as a business owner I insist on providing the best customer service - and I also expect great customer service when I am the customer. As well, I can identify great CS when I see it- as I did at the Dreams Royal Beach Resort.

I received the warmest welcome from butler Eduardo as I got off shuttle and set foot on property. My vacation was the best from that point to the time of departure! Front reception check-in was perfect. Bellman promptly delivered luggage to room with a smile. All staff throughout property extremely welcoming and voicing their gratitude for me visiting - and did so throughout my week long stay. I felt very safe, welcomed and appreciated which added to my overall vacation (extreme) satisfaction.
Eduardo ensured that every detail was in place during my stay and often reached out to me to ensure I understood to call him for any need I may have. I discovered that Eduardo was most sincere and genuine when one day I shared I was going to visit nearby town in the early evening and asked if it were safe for me to go by myself. He gave me safety tips for my travel. At around 10 PM I received a text from Eduardo- he was just checking on me to see if I was safe and all okay!!! (Note that Eduardo’s official work day ended at 6 PM - he also previously told me his work day never ends when I talked to him about working hours!) What a positive example of going far and beyond one’s job responsibilities and exceeding any reasonable expectations a guest could have! Incidentally, I felt safe walking in town by myself.
Unfortunately, I don’t have the names of all the staff that deserve special mention. But I do remember from the beach bar that Jefry and Jeffrey made sure I did not want for anything. I never went thirsty! All the bar staff supporting each other is noteworthy. They were making sure they were doing their very best to support all guests.
On the entertainment side: Dark Chocolate and Junior did their very best to provide the best entertainment possible. Xavier at the towel issue was also very personable and helpful.
Security and lifeguards were always seen on property, ensuring everyone’s safety. I especially appreciated the security provided on the beach.
All of the restaurants were delicious though I look forward to Covid being gone and the various Covid restrictions lifted. Considering the Covid restrictions- all staff did the very best they could, in all categories.
Last but not least: Maria the housekeeper did an awesome job keeping my room serviced and clean. Also very personable during my stay as well as the other PM housekeeper.
I’m sure that I’ve overlooked someone or some entity - my apologies- but one thing is for sure: It takes individual and collective efforts of all to make a successful outcome and Dreams Royal Beach has accomplished this.
