We recently just visited the Dreams Royal the service was amazing. I can't tell you enough how amazing Eduardo is! He took care of our needs from start to finish! Anyone that visits will be blessed to have him!

Review of Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana

We took a long weekend trip to Dominican Republic over valentines. Dreams Royal Beach opened in December and I cannot say enough good things.
Safety, cleanliness and an incredible staff. This is my 3rd all inclusive and the employees by far are the hardest working, most friendly individuals. From check in to check out we were impressed.
Covid rapid testing done on site for free
Constant cleaning and great safety protocols. 82 degree heat and masks on each and every employee but you could always see a smile.
Food was plentiful we ate at oceana (pumpkin soup was great and ceviche)
Fusion Tempanyaki was delicious and sushi was great
Eduardo took great care of all questions and needs.
The pool wait staff Jeffry, Jefry and Omar keeps us with full drinks and laughter
Carlos and Juan at portofino for the preferred al cart lunch were awesome, as was the food, sushi and salmon! We went 3 days in a row.
Manny and Ruddy at the buffet.
Felix creating omelets at the buffet. So good!
Deloris at front desk check in was efficient and friendly
Allan with VIP services was knowledgeable and great.
Maria our housekeeper brought us chocolates on valentines which was very sweet and made sure we had everything we needed whenever she saw us.
Mal (I didn’t catch his full name) took care of our luggage disinfecting, delivery, pick up and loading I didn’t have to touch a thing!
When I say the staff here goes above and beyond, they really do.
Beach was clean and due to low capacity/crowds plenty of space. Plenty to do and see if you want. The staff wasn’t pushy with activities.
We had room 4352 which was pool side preferred, top floor. The bed was amazingly comfortable, clean and we could watch the sun rise from the balcony. We arrived to fresh fruit and champagne and a stocked mini bar.
The ocean is less calm on Bavaro since it’s the Atlantic side, the beach is cleaned daily of seaweed and there are vendors supporting their families but just say no thank and they say have a nice day.
Tips. Bring a small float for the lazy river pool that winds through, plenty of sunscreen, they provide towels at the towel hut. We booked through Travelocity, Expedia does their airport transfers when you arrive, we paid $68 for round trip private transfers since Covid.

I was there for a destination wedding last week. I have been to a few different resorts in different countries and this one ranks up there as one of the top ones. All of the bartenders were super funny and very personable. It was my first time having a butler and Jean Carlos was super helpful. Anytime I asked him for something he was on it right away and got everything taken care of which made the week even more relaxing. Every employee that I talked to there was super upbeat and helpful. The wedding itself was stress free and probably one of the easiest weddings I have been apart of. There was a lot of pool area so you could be by yourself if you wanted to which is a big plus for me. I did not have a meal there that i was disappointed in which I have experienced at other resorts. Also, we ended up getting room service most nights and it was all delicious.

Great experience. Rooms were very clean and neat and the employees were awesome. Dark Chocolate, Blacky, Dj Pedro, and the entertainment team were very personable, they all know how to dance REALLY well too, I had to take some notes! Food was quite enjoyable as well. From Italian to Seaside Grille and Oceano plus more, you have many selections. Consider booking here for your next visit!

Greatest trip of our lives..made so much better by the incredible Dreams Resort in punta Cana Honestly the staff was sooo incredible Juan Carlos (JC)the concierge, was the absolute highlight of the trip. I am a planner my husband say annoyingly so. JC totally took the reins and made this the most amazing relaxing vacation we have ever taken. My husband called him the magic man because anytime we had any questions he would magically appear and answer them. If you are looking for a fun family resort to visit and need a little magic...go to Dreams Punta Cana...but make sure you get JC as your concierge its an experience e you will not soon forget...Finally learned what being on vacation was. Thank you JC

Sitting at the Punta Cana airport getting ready to go back home... wishing I was still at Dreams Royal Beach! Such a fabulous vacation. I did a ton of research before I booked our stay here. Reasons I chose this resort- 1) Great COVID protocols. 2) location on Bavaro beach, 3) strong wi-if signal, even at the beach. I was so happy with our decision to stay at DRB. If you are concerned about COVID, don’t be. The resort was at about 11 to 25% occupancy while we were there. They couldn’t have been more conscientious about keeping their guests safe. One thing that impressed me was that even though there were not many guests, there were PLENTY of employees there to provide excellent service. Shout outs to JC (Jean Carlos) our butler, Omar, who brought us drinks and snacks on the beach every day, Juan, our favorite waiter, Felix the chef, Maria in housekeeping... and who can forget Dark Chocolate who makes everything FUN! We had the most relaxing stay. Keep in mind that not all activities are open and restaurants are limited due to COVID. But if you are looking for a place to get some R&R and warm sun, this is the perfect place. We booked Preferred, which IMO is not necessary but a nice perk. FYI... the Covid testing at the resort was easy and it was a breeze getting through customs with the Covid documentation. We booked round trip transfers to and from airport with DAT and they were outstanding. The Punta Cana airport is so nice and clean and easy to get through. We will be back!
