This is a nice friendly place to stay right in the CBD. Staff are very friendly, laid back and very helpful. Hamid gets a special thank you for helping us out with the rental car. Karin for getting us amenities when our luggage was delayed. Breakfast was great the coffee strong but good tasting. I especially appreciated a beer after a busy day out in the comfortable lounge with a small fire.
From the moment we parked in the drive way we were received with a warm welcome. The friendly staff helped us to our modern apartment. It felt like paradise with the most amazing views and service. The kitchenstaff is kind and warm hearted. We had amaizing breakfast next to the pool and enjoyed every moment.
This was our second stay at Blackheath Lodge and we thoroughly enjoyed it again. Godfrey, Hamid and Carmen(sp?) provided excellent service and recommendations during our stay. The breakfasts were amazing with fresh fruit, croissants and cooked to order options daily on a beautiful porch overlooking the pool. The beds are super comfortable and the housekeeping staff leave your room spotless. The location is in a quiet neighborhood about 300m from the ocean promenade. It's a 7 min Uben to the V&A Waterfront or about a 20min walk. Great value and highly recommended!
I often stay at Blackheath Lodge when I travel for business. It’s a place where I can work but also feel like I am on holiday. The staff are friendly, rooms are clean and the bar has an awesome wine selection. I highly recommend BH to all travelers.
The staff are always welcoming and friendly. The rooms are clean and have the most beautiful interior. Everything is so tastefully decorated. Delicious breakfast spread in the mornings. You also can’t beat the location. A real home away from home - but better!
