Magical place. Loved it here. It's like you are in Switzerland. This place is wonderful and we will stay again. Awesome room and the grounds are fabulous. We loved the dogs and the 2 kitties. When the clouds clear you can see the whole of San Jose. Everyone is helpful and friendly. Super laid back. 6 stars. Keith and Amy and Sophia.
What an absolutely unique and cool property. Very funky with lots of gardens and views and artwork and different little houses that contain just a few rooms or single rooms. Breakfast was fantastic. Super helpful receptionist. Dairy farm next door. Walking distance to a couple restaurants and small souvenir shop but other than that you need a car or taxi.
My wife and I recently visited the place, we are still stunned by what we experienced in Altura Hotel. The views, the mountains, everything looks like a fairy tail. Please, if you're in Costa Rica, visit this place, its a once in a lifetime experience.
This might be the most unique place I've stayed at anywhere. There's so much character here. They have amazing views with small walking trails. Lots of flowers and plants. Nightly bonfire. 2 big friendly dogs and a cat. Great option for a first or last night or 2 in Costa Rica instead of staying in San Jose.
I have never visited a beautiful site as this Hotel... in the the mountains,all the flowers,the animals, the point of views phenomenal!! Wowwww ♥️♥️ nice rooms, very clean and the greeting wonderful. Would of loved to have real local strawberry jam for the breakfast
