I recently had a wonderful experience at Navini Island Resort in Fiji. The traditional Bures were lovely, although lacking air conditioning, but staying on the east side with the natural wind flow or using personal fans and makeshift AC with ice buckets made for comfortable nights.
The snorkeling was exceptional, with Thomas as an excellent guide. Those who only stayed close to the beach missed out on the stunning corals and sea life near the buoys. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially with snorkeling tips and guidance, whether by kayak, small boat, or swimming alongside. Planning activities on-site, such as snorkeling, fishing trips, or scuba diving charters, ensured there was always something exciting to do.
While the food was decent, the breakfast stood out, and the staff was accommodating to special requests, even allowing guests to share their culinary expertise.
The resort caters more to adults but is still enjoyable for children, who are warmly welcomed by the attentive staff. Lots of made up games for kids to play and be without TV or devices. Hermit crab races, guitar playing, signing at night with family.
Despite the nighttime heat, my family and I had a fantastic time, and the kids particularly loved the interactions with the friendly staff.
Thanks again Seru, Thomas, Dumo and the rest of staff for being kind and hospitable.
