Well equipped hotel in a good spot on Nabq Bay in Sharm.
Outside hotel complex are a range of tourist shops etc but be warned, the shop staff will hassle you to go in and buy from their ‘family business’!
The hotel itself is very nice though not 5 star. It may have been once but is a little tired.
The staff are very friendly and the hotel is lovely and clean. We had a few issues at the start, room with a bath after requesting a shower due to mobility issues, second room with wet room that flooded, which were solved by the staff but did cause some stress at the time.
Superb grounds that were well tended. Three pools to choose from. We found the main pool to be a bit noisy for us, so we opted for the quieter pool at the front of the hotel, which was excellent.
The food was very good. Yes, it could be bit repetitive but we always found something to enjoy. There are a couple of a la carte restaurants you can visit during your stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the food at the Italian restaurant and visited a couple of times.
All in all an enjoyable holiday with stunning weather though I don’t think we’d return mostly due to the atmosphere when you leave the hotel complex. I like to be left alone to browse the shops not hassled.

Nice staff apart from one who was rude he worked in the late bar. Food was edible but bland and tasteless like ground hog day. beach bar that served chips and pizza and pasta that had been shown some sauce was anemic, pizza like cardboard with red bits drawn on it and chips that had been warmed up from day before they were inedible. Beer were poured into a thimble and from a bottle which was left behind the bar to go warm and would not allow you to have two glasses so had to make many trips to feel like you have had a pint. Pool where it is the large area if you could get a bed without a towel by 10.00 am you then had booming music blasting out from huge speakers and had to shout across your sun bed to have a conversation. Moved to the other pool quite a walk away and could still hear the base thumping from 500 feet away not relaxing at all. Beach was great clear water nice to paddle in staff were nice there. Room clean well maintained but looking tired drains stunk at night after being out all day. Hard Rock Cafe next door so ate there and another place across the road. If you want internet you have sit in the bar or reception to use Wi-Fi and because the doors are open and shut all day the mosquitoes are bad in there. I would give a three star and there is damp patches on walls and looked tatty.

Relaxing holiday, room with marvelous sea view and lots or palm trees around.
The food is very good in the main restaurant, especially good for Italian and Sea food lovers.
The workers of Aurora are excellent and very friendly, they really make you feel yourself at home. Animation program deserves a special thanks: we’ve never seen such an active and professional team before.
See you soon next year !!

Lovely friendly hotel.

Transfer about 20 minutes from the airport. Make sure you take a pen to fill out the visa form upon entry, and also upon exit.

Like other reviews the hotel is a bit dated but it is not noticeable.

The a la carte options are free, you can choose the Italian, or the Bulgarian one by the pool. We did the Italian. It’s a bit misleading, we chose one of each item from the menu as the chap booking it with us said we could. We had soup, a HUMONGOUS Caesar salad, pizza, steak, and tiramisu. (we had presumed they would be smaller meals).
But be warned, each item is probably big enough to feed a few. It was a shame we hadn’t realised this upon booking, as a lot of food went to waste. We actually cancelled the pizzas as everybody was going to get a 12” pizza. You can upgrade to other items on the menu and expensive wine if you want.

The staff make this hotel what it is, they are so accommodating. The dining room staff are second to none. Mohammed the dining manager decorated the table for my wife’s birthday and he couldn’t do more. There were 9 of us so after a few days he started setting the same table so no one else could take the table.

The wine is palatable and the lager is some form of Stellar. Unfortunately, the measures of both wine and lager are small to say the least. As the day went on, you would end up with a paper cup. It actually became a bit tiresome repeatedly walking back and forth to the bar to get a 1/3rd of a pint. Trivial some would say but at an all-inclusive hotel, the alcohol should be more generous. After time we just stopped drinking.. Spirits are more than generous!

One thing we found a bit disappointing, the pool shuts at 16:45 so they can chuck the chlorine in. So, your day is ended at this point and although it goes dark shortly after, we felt we couldn’t sit around the pool and ventured back to the room.

We booked a speedboat trip with Jamal and we had such a blast going out to the reef to snorkel and then to the lagoon on the return. Don’t be shy get out and do it, you won’t be disappointed. The English the reps speak is impressive so chatting to them about normal everyday stuff was enjoyable.

Room aircon was perfectly cold and room maintained to a clean standard. We found the aircon in the restaurant wasn’t used much and with all the solar gain from the huge glazing panels overlooking the pool, it became warm to say the least.

Plenty of food choice and outside there is always good choices. The beach bar with the snacks and similar to the pool bar were ok for a one-off trip. If you were here for 2 weeks, I think you would get bored of eating the same.

The staff work tirelessly hard to wait on you, so take a few quid to tip them as it means the world to them.

Just returned from a week's family holiday in the sun. Nice location for a quiet retreat. Hotel is a bit dated but clean and tidy, the grounds are well kept & the staff couldn't do enough for you.

We were looked after very well by everyone from the reception to the pool & beach bars. (Too many individuals to mention, thank you all for your great service)

Food was fantastic, well cooked, plenty of choices, even my fussy wife could always find something nice to eat. There is a full menu available in the main restaurant breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lunchtime snacks at the beach bars.

They have a couple of al a cart restaurants that you need to pay extra for, most all inclusive hotels I have experienced in the past allow you to sample these, but not here & we didn't feel the need to pay extra for this with the choices offered in the main restaurant. (This is where it dropped a star for Me).

On site there is a professional photographer Mina & his brother Hanna. Two of the nicest Egyptian people we have ever met. We asked for a photo shoot on our last day & worked around our schedule. We were more than happy with the results, initially only wanting one family photo & ended up wanting the lot.

This was a fantastic way to end our holiday trip with some great memories. Thank you!

Room tip: Great Service by all staff.
