We were a group of 14 people, 7 days at this hotel. It was our yoga tour. Номера Стандарт просторные и в хорошем состоянии. The hotel has a lot of green well-groomed lawns, a large wide beach, a beautiful reef. The restaurant really liked the selection of vegetables. They are all with a natural taste and smell. The restaurant is large and bright. There is a fish restaurant on the beach. Through the fence from the hotel is the Rixos Hotel. Great help in organizing our stay and in organizing our classes was provided by some hotel staff, especially the security guard Manager Khalaf. Thanks to such attention and support, we plan to continue to come in group yoga tours to this hotel.

There’s lady named Doaa who’s a fantastic member of the staff really kind helpful and speaks well with the guest. I’ve had few issue and she’s solved it immediately couldn’t ask for more.
Me & my wife stayed at this Amwaj hotel 11 days and it was wonderful stay and time. Walked through the door for the first time you see beautiful lobby and nothing but great greeting when you enter every time, straight to the reception spoke to a staff at the desk spoke good English very polite professional didn’t even take more than 10 mins to check in. Even was kind enough to give us late dinner as I paid for all inclusive. As you walk through the stairs you’ll see another lobby that leads to the outdoors. I have to admit everything was clean from the first entrance till we get to our room. As you walk toward your room staff will welcome you with open arms and greet respectfully even with lack language barrier.
Our room was beautiful absolutely clean and I paid for sea view room which we got. Every morning a fella named Mohamed will keep your room top notch clean towel new bed sheets and clean bathroom even gives you bottle water every morning. Walking around the hotel beach and pool area totally clean every morning they clean the pool even though it was cold to swim as feb is cold season in Egypt, if you happen to pass by a member staff they will always smile and always welcoming.
The food oh my goodness it was fantastic even though it was Egyptian cuisine everyday couldn’t complain because it was cooked well and fresh. From the chefs to the cleaners at the diner are always helpful, and the desert various different cake to choose from didn’t really see many fruits only melon and oranges and guava could do a little bit better but I was happy with and enjoy it.
With all that being said the hotel and staff are brilliant but the people that work within the hotel that offer services are expensive and extortion. You are better off to get your activity deal outside the hotel probably half the price those guys offer. Bare in mind those people DO NOT work for hotel, look out for the camera guy we’ve had bad experience maybe because of language barrier or he’s trying to rip you off. Bottom line if you want your picture taken better off doing your iPhone 14 or get yourself a camera not worth paying £120 .
Lastly most evening around 11ish some weird smell comes up I think it’s the poo from the toilets that they clean from the outside, but it’s only temporarily it’s done within the hour. That’s the only downside I have or negative I can say.
All in all I will be back at this hotel.

Good room service, always clean. The impeccable animation team, super fun (Djoanna, Dasha and Hanna), super friendly 10-star pool bar services, friendly and always very attentive if you wanted something more. The Hotel itself is not 5 star possibly 3, food nothing facing the European tourist, not even the breakfast. This really best hotel is really the people who work it, who are really very nice, friendly, helpful and very well prepared. Thanks to my friends Mohame (pool bar) and the animation team. Seriously consider this before booking, service are very very poor, staff unpolite, be careful if you are woman and travel alone, they insist to have your number and they pretend always more, ( I am a man that is writing this ) Durty rooms, sometime you don’t get hot water, to enter the room the pass is not working and you have to go back to reception almost every night, but here they don’t solve problem they create more problems, the beach is full of cigarette on the sand, Toilette are durty, the restaurants offer decent food ( don’t aspect good food), but if you consider that is almost the cheapest that you can get here in sharm for a very low budget is fine...
Reception unpolite, unprofessional,they assist you when they want without remembering that they work for you soddisfaction ( customer service 🙈 )

As we travel for 30 years to Egypt and Sharm el Sheik in wintertime for a long holiday, it has been the most disappointing Hotel we have experienced, and this was suppose to be 5 stars... not sure according to whom... As you will see on the attached pictures as evidence. The location and garden fasciitis are stunning and well maintained. But the rooms a so run down and the furniture broken and ready for the skip. Mould inside the fridge, flaky paint on all furniture, mould in bathroom, never was able to have a hot shower, regardless of the time of day. The beds are consisting of a base frame 20 cm of the floor, with a 10 cm coil mattress completely worn down and not fit for anyone to sleep in. These haven’t been changed for at least the last 10 years. We have been in 3 star properties with more comfort and hygienic standards. The ignorance and carelessness of the management clearly reflects on the entire staff. An Italien family booked a tree bed room and been given a twin bed room, the solution was that a guy from housekeeping got a lounger from the pool side and put a mattress on top inside the room, It has nothing to do with being very critical but the basic standards were not met, careless staff not interested in your comments. I have been in the catering and hospitality trade for over 40 years with Sheraton, Hilton Cairo, intercontinental and crown plaza hotels around the world, and can only say that the food and beverage manager should be looking for a new job.

We have been here 8 times before the flight ban, we found it friendly, fairly clean and the food was average. But we keep on returning or we will again now. First time visiting Sharm El Sheikh. We booked this hotel with no real expectations. On arrival we were checked in with relative ease and escorted to our room. I had emailed prior stating it was an anniversary but still ended up with 2 twin beds. There was an issue with our safe but that was sorted out very soon. The room was very clean and overlooked the gardens which was lovely
The pool area is lovely with plenty of sunbeds available and fresh pool/beach towels everyday. Lovely beach, again plenty of sunbeds and beach bar right there. Very shallow so if you want to snorkel you need to go to the end of the pier(its not that far away) The animation team were great , having yoga, zumba and daily evening shows.
My only bad comment around the pool area is that too many reps from either the spa or tours or the sand man would be doing the rounds a few times a day and some would not take no for an answer , no matter how many times you said No Thank You!
The main buffet restaurant had plenty of choice and there was something to eat even for the pickiest of eaters. My only comment would be that they have individual serving spoons for salads and the warm dishes (especially the oriental dishes) were labelled . The lovely man who greeted us every lunch/dinner time , giving us a high 5 made our day. You could upgrade to gold for extra premium.
We never made use of the al a carte restaurants as these had to be booked on the day at 10am. We were enjoying the pool at this time.
With regards to the bar , there were a few occasions where they ran out of beer, whether it was the pool bar, the restaurant or the Atrium bar. Another big issue for us is that there was no diet drinks available (bar person thought mixing full cola with soda makes it diet), so if you are diabetic this is not for you.
We arranged a late checkout (again there is an approximate USD50 fee for this)
I would go back as it was a lovely break!

To start with the positives as I feel bad even writing this but do not waste your money on this hotel if you are expecting a 5 star service. `if you want a 3 star or not bothered then go for it. Positives the weather 22-24 degrees over the xmas period which is fab, sun all day, sun tan achieved and beautiful clean surroundings. Staff lovely, not many speak English catered for mainly Russian and Italian. The shop staff in the arcade brilliant, kind and hard working and beautiful skin care which you need to get better than anything natural and amazing, costume jewellery and handbags which are everywhere outside resort but the man in the bag shop is genuinely lovely as is the jewellery guy. Hard rock cafe 10 mins walk, casino dated just outside resort. Negatives are room was dated plug sockets worked when they wanted and didn't charge items fast when they did work. Wifi was given for two electric gadgets only but didn't work all the time anyway so gave up and used the wifi reception area which was ridiculous and tight if you went to the reception shops the wifi dropped out so it was irritating and sometimes didn't work anyway. If you have children you have to pay for ice cream for them and there is no ice cream at the dining area. No branded drinks. No Coca Cola no proper drinks at all, sparse bar area no cocktails. Do not take Egyptian currency take sterling. Everyone wants sterling you cannot withdraw sterling from the bank in Egypt or at cash points. Food was basic and nothing like photos shown was ridiculous and dry. Salad was nice and the bread but the ala carte restaurant was just laughable. No waiter service in the dining area lucky to find a cup or glass - at one point used soup bowl for a cup of tea. No waiter service on beach. In general no waiter service anywhere not 5 star... Getting back to the room, door wouldn't lock repeatedly, light in bathroom was doing its own thing used torch off my phone. Phone didn't work in room, shower water poured out onto floor as the base was too low and plug blocked..who knows? Balcony no sun all day every day. No handle on exterior of balcony. A couple of channels on TV only, dated room, a thing on floor where you stub your toe as a present. No iron, no extra bedding, no extra towels, nothing. Battered decor in places. Could go on and on sadly I wasted my money on this hotel. However, fabulous kebab shop over the road where you see them cook to order tiny little place with no health and safety whatsoever but was delicious. Entertainment team brilliant. Egypt is amazing but sadly this hotel needs a lot of work and is being falsely advertised.

Went for a package deal with an agent. Total of 6 rooms for4 night stay. The rate was worth it as had a full board package and free flowing non alc drinks in the resort outlets. Check in was too slow as only 1 staff on a Saturday but later on other staff came to assist. Departure was fast. Twin room layout is spacious, amenities were okay, although needs maintenance, but understandably tough for a resort. Our door though was a pain whenever opening though. Cleaning can be improved in the rooms and public toilets. The Entertainment team were great on what they do ensuring all the guest have fun. The dining service was helpful but the food need some love - we paid full board but does not mean eating same bland taste food everyday same as other guest comments. Location is perfect and has cheap boulevard just across the resort. Overall stay was above average. We will definitely come back - hopefully improved.
