Amazing!

Reviewed 1 week agovia mobile
We stayed here in June for 10 nights as a family of four, with two children aged 11. We had an amazing time.
The hotel was very clean and very well maintained. The staff are all very friendly. Our room was spacious with a great sea veiw. It was the the furthest building away from reception but you can request a buggy ride back to your room whenever you like, which was great fun and the kids enjoyed this.
The food was fresh and tasty but limited. Mainly the same foods everyday. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. When I've been to all inclusive beofr it's included most items, however this hotel is very specific on what your instilled to and it's actually the ultra all inclusive that gives you more of a variety. Each day you can have 60 deriums per person to have on food around the pool, this is great tasting food and a good idea just to have a change from the restaurant food. Also there is a midnight snack in the restaurant which is ideal if your hungry.
Good drink selection with fresh juice.
Very hot in June, we had temp of 48 degrees.
Whilst we were there is was my twins birthday and the returant staff kindly sang happy birthday and bought a cake to the table.
The staff att he Anchor bar were especially friendly and made our evenings entertainig.
Air con worked well. Room includes hair dryer, coffee machine, iron and ironing board, slipper and dressing gown, a safe and a mini fridge. My husband found the bed to be very hard.
Pools were clean and the beach is beautiful. Always beds.
Couldn't fault this hotel and would definitely recommend.

Date of stay: July 2024
Room Tip: Use the buggy to take you to your room if your far away. Use your 60 deriums per person per day...

We have just arrived home after a lovely 14 nights at DT Hilton Marjan Island.

We checked in at about 11pm, it was quick and efficient and we received a famous Hilton Cookie.

We stayed in room 1726(7th Floor), it was a lovely room, very clean spacious with the biggest bathroom I’ve seen in a hotel. We were right at the end of the corridor which was great as we were never disturbed by anyone. Our balcony was tiny, but it was so humid you couldn’t really sit out on it anyway so wasn’t an issue.

The entire resort is absolutely spotless and the staff work really hard to maintain it.

The staff in all areas are really good. They are polite and professional. A big shout out to Rabi at the adult pool bar who was always so cheerful even when it was boiling hot.

The beach is clean with lots of available sun beds. The sea is so warm, which I am sure is lovely if it wasn’t 50 degrees lol.

We mainly stayed at the adults pool. The lifeguards ensured that no children were allowed in the area. The loungers were comfortable. It is well maintained and the pool is lovely and cool. Plenty of sun beds available. Was nice to have the floating cushions for everyone to use.

We stayed on an All Inclusive basis, which was good but the main restaurant is so busy with people pushing in from all directions, a bit of a free for all. The food is a bit limited. So we felt we had no choice but to use the a La carte restaurants and pay the difference. Which for us was on average £50 per visit.

Breakfast - Good selection of hot and cold dishes, cereal, pastries etc. We preferred it when the Brasserie was open at breakfast time. It was just more relaxed, however the main restaurant does have a 16+ Seating area.

Lunch - We mainly eat at the pool area, and used our 60aed each day. The Ceaser salad was delicious and meant we didn’t have to use the really busy main restaurant.

Dinner - The main restaurant was quite limited and busy. We visited all the a la carte restaurants.

Meze - Very nice with lots of choice from the menu. I had the Mousaka which was very nice.

Asian - Portions were massive and food was tasty

Italian - Very nice authentic Italian food. The carbonara risotto was really good.

Brasserie - By far our favourite, food was absolutely delicious.

I would suggest that management consider a set AI menu at each a La carte restaurant where you don’t have to worry about going over the 60aed limit person. It would ensure the main restaurant is not so busy at peak times.

We asked how much it would be to upgrade to Ultra All Inclusive and was quoted over 650aed per person per night, which would have cost over £4000 extra… defo not worth it. However if we were to return again we would see if we could get a deal with a travel agent when booking as some people only seemed to pay £200 extra. It would just mean we wouldn’t have to use the main restaurant for dinner and worth the extra couple of hundred pounds but not more than that.

Weather in June / July is very hot, but all inside areas of the hotel have fab air con. The evenings are very humid so you cannot eat outside.

We were a little disappointed that we were not informed that the reception and lobby area was going to be refurbished during our stay, which meant the adult only bar on the 9th floor was open to everyone. Which meant no really quiet spot for people without children.

Overall we had a great holiday, and would consider returning again in the future but would look to book UAI just to avoid the main restaurant in the evening.

this hotel is based to RAK area of dubai on marjan island.
marjan island is still in production so there isn't much outside or around the hotel. you only need to look at Google maps. that being said, we didn't feel the need to leave the hotel anyway.
this hotel is located about an hour from the airport and about an hour and a half from the main dubai city.

the room was spacious, clean, with large beds, I have to mention though the pillows were awful, probably the worse ha ha.

breakfast buffet, lots of choice including rice dishes, not something I would have but others did.

I didn't think it would need to be said, but you will not find any pork (a Muslim country, they do not eat pork) I thought it was strange the amount of people I heard asking for a pork sausage 🤔

we tried the buffet dinner once, it was chaos, a free for all and not really something I enjoy.

there are a few restaurants to choose.
the turkish was my personal favourite, it was lovely.

my least favourite was the Italian, it was ok, nothing special.

the pools are fab, we stayed round the adults only pool, they did have a euro 2024 pool party while we were there, large screen and the kids were allowed in the pool from 4.30pm, didn't bother me too much, but there were a few grumbles from others around the pool.

this is a fab hotel, great staff, they work such long hours.

we didn't do the all inclusive upgrade as didn't feel like we needed it. paying for dinners in the restaurants was reasonable enough, I think the Thai was the most expensive about 125 uae and that was for 3 courses. wasn't expensive at all in my opinion.

thank you for having us, I would go back here, just need them to get better pillows ha ha.
