I've arrived on 6th of September with my family and I will take you through my entire journey to have a better understanding. Reservation system is quite efficient and you will have some benefits if you book directly as a member (my case was an offer of 50% off from the rate which was awesome). Reaching here is not difficult at all and the area itself it's wonderful. Check in did not take long however there was no emotion or engagement from the agent side. She was more into the technical part rather than offering information or at least a smile (assuming she is new, it's understandable). Moving forward to the room, the furniture is old, however we have enjoyed the arabic style and even the colors are dark, is still giving you a warmth welcoming vibe. The cleanness could be improved , where you can find visibly dust and mold (traveling with a toddler it is an inconvenient thinking at the child's health). Another area of improvement would be the staff - apart housekeeping (which are humble, polite and respectful) and the pool employees, no one would greet you unless you will do it first. The beach is 15 minutes walking (if you are with a child) but the concierge were nice to offer a buggy to drop and pick up us fron there. The reason I'm giving 5 stars even with the shortfalls which can be fixed, is the safety and the way they have adopted all the regulations from the government. It is a very difficult period for all of us and nost of us are avoiding traveling because of it, but here I felt safe where the guidelines were introduced properly. Well done!

We really enjoyed our stay in Marjan Island Resort & Spa on 14th March till 15th March 2021. The location is hidden paradise of Ras Al Khaimah. Serene and beautiful location. Generous staff that gave us room upgrade, spacious, clean, comfortable bed, amazing view from our balcony, room amenities are on top notch. As soon as we arrived at the hotel lobby Alaa warmly greeted us, she is gracious host! She gave us brief introduction about the hotel facilities, the restaurants and of course the Turtle Beach. We headed to the dinner at Al Diwan, Rommnick and Chef Hamza are helpful to guide us through the buffet and make some recommendations, great pasta superb service, and we appreciate that the hotel particularly the restaurant follow social distancing protocol, the chefs around the buffet counter are helpful and patiently giving us what food we wanted, the staff observe proper hygiene so we were at ease that we are safe and sound. !It was my fiancee birthday on 15th March and Alaa helped me to make it special for her. We got the cake at midnight right one minute before her Birthday. Special huge thanks to Alaa for making our day precious and memorable. We visited as well the Shisha lounge where we met the friendly Anwar and Osama, since we didn't know what flavor of Shisha to have, Osama gave his own recommendations and absolutely the "Cocktail Shisha" he made is the best Shisha I ever had. definitely will visit again this week to have his shisha😊 Anwar made sure that we are well accomodated. Next day, breakfast packed with families however Tharuska (not sure with her name Sri Lankan lady, friendly and warm accommodate us. We went to the lobby where we met Alaa genuinely asked feedback about our stay and recommended us to enjoy our day at the Turtle beach-is a hidden gem, beautiful beach! clean, turquoisecolor water and serene. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and definitely will be back soon for our honeymoon! Warm, friendly accommodating staff, Alaa made us feel that we are at "home". Thank you so much for your hospitality. Location Description : The place is located on Al marjan Island. Its around 1hr 10min drive from Centre of Dubai. You can chose E11 and E311 but i would prefer E311 because of Higher speed limit. Check in : There was a queue and it took us around 15-20 min to check in. Parking : There is enough parking available outside and in the basement Room Description : Rooms are decent but we couldn't get the Double bed so we had to opt for single beds. There were no laundry & sanitary bags . We got toiletries on request as tooth brush and other things were not available. Staff : most were humble but one men at reception was rude, seemed like their manager. Overall they were fine and followed the instructions. Food : We booked room along with complimentary breakfast but it was not good. Less variety and tasteless. Beach : For beach you have to go on the other side of road. Its their private beach and they will arrange transport for you. Its called Turtle beach but irony is you will not find any turtle there. There is a long walking side along the hotel. Its also seashore but you cant swim since its rocky . If you have fishing equipments carry with yourself since you will see fishes and crabs and you can catch them easily. The closest place is Al hamra mall where you can go shopping and have some decent restaurants. There are some Indian restaurants also available within 10 min where you can eat in really low price. They also offered some discount coupons for massage, etc. We have also attached the picture of kind of sea shells you will find on beach along with star fish.

I have been served and I drinked in a coffee cup already used by another client with lipstick on the inside and outside of the cup.
Considering the global COVID-19 situation, we asked the hotel before booking if there were taking extra cleaning care and respecting the social distancing. They assured us that there were. We called again the hotel 2 days before our arrival and they confirmed the control of a low occupation rate.
So, we were very surprised to see a crowded hotel at our arrival. The pool was packed without any masks and of course no Social Distancing. When we asked the staff, they said that the hotel was occupied at 80%...
when my coffee was served I had a first sip, and then I was chocked to see a lipstick stain in the edge of the cup! (please note that I do not wear any lipstick). I could not believe it… I thought it was an indelible stain on the cup, so I gently and softly passed a tissue on it, and it erased automatically! I checked inside the cup and there was the exact same stain color with the shape of lips!! It was indeed lipstick!! So I was given a cup not cleaned!! Some women had drunk on it, and they then gave it to me without cleaning!! In normal time, this is absolutely unacceptable but considering the COVID-19 situation and the assurance the hotel gave us about extra care cleaning, this is even more! When I complained to the staff, the Food and Beverage Manager of the hotel who was seated in the next table and saw what was happening, tried first to pretend it was just a red stain. But we were 4 people having breakfast at this table and we can all assure and legaly testify that it was lipstick in the inside and the outside of the cup with the shape of a mouth that just erased easyly when i passed a tissue on it. After ackowledging this crazy mistake the Food and Beverage Manager, seemed not to understand the dangerousity of the situation and his answer was to refund me and my husband 50 aed each for the breakfast.

Once the lockdown was lifted we took the opportunity to book again with Marjan Resorts & Spa !! We were just dying t get a break frm the city life & The booking went so well & our best room were given at a very decent price for 3 nights . As always we were delighted t meet Mr.Ossama Al Kenzy the front off manager, who would always welcome all guests with a wonderful smile & a good conversation . We are always enchanted by the service & awesome Hospitality of the hotel restaurant bearers led by Romnick & his amazing team comprising of Joshi, Ismail, Said , Zeeshan & Aida. They invite you with an awesome breakfast Spread raging frm hot beverages, soups ,egg varieties, waffles, bakery, foul, to fresh cold fruit yougurts, ice creams ,fruit juices ,fruits & many more . They are always ready t run errands to please their customers . The hygiene is so well maintained in the restaurant with regular disinfecting after every client .The tables, chairs & cutlery are always crystal clear . The rooms are also so well maintained & housekeeping personnel are just superb with always a smile on their face . The pools , in door pools & beach are One of the best available in UAE 🇦🇪.

Stayed here with my wife and son. Great property overlooking the sea. Room, breakfast, pool were liked by all of us. We got an upgrade and hence we were on the top most floor and room had a big seating area apart from king size bed and a big bathroom.
Checkin was delayed by an hour due to long queue but the staff were courteous enough to help get an extended check out. My son was given a free AED 50 voucher for the Pirates Club where they have video and arcade games. Made our day !!!
This is an alcohol free property so don't expect any pool side cocktails or in room drinks. The pool however has a juice bar where you can enjoy fresh juices or ice creams.
It was too hot so we preferred to be in the pool both eve and morning times, but otherwise the hotel overlooks the sea and has an adjoining strip which stretches a few km where one can go running/cycling/strolling and experience the Marjan island.
Gym looked good but since indoor pool and gym were only for 18+adults couldn't experience them with my son.
Buffet breakfast had a mix of Continental/Asian/Indian. We liked it.
Buffet dinner however was a bit overpriced at AED 140 per person and butter chicken and dal makhani can be much better.
There is ample parking available. It is a self park option and there is no valet.
All in all a great value for money experience. We shall love to visit again.

When we arrived we were greeted and welcomed by the concierge staff, our lagguage swifted away quickly. All staff are superb. We would like to extend our appreciation especially to Imane at the reception who automatically gave us an upgrade, big room with a seperate dining room, with a television in both rooms. Can make your own Tea and coffee, kettle available in the room. Also Ms. Evegnina l think spelling is wrong, (Manager). also was great. Nothing is too much trouble even for housekeeping staff, thank you to Aaka whom l kept asking for bottle of water from him. Buffet restaurant offers a wide range of food to choose from, live station for Pasta made to your choice.Mr Romnic (supervisor)took his time and come to chat with us and made us feel welcome. Not forgetting Bharat at breakfast .So attentive and always willing to help. In overall great stay. Though there is not much to do in Ras Al Khaimah, can only go to Jebel jais zipline, Desert Safari or Dubai Mall, these costs an arm and a leg (; so we did not bother with it. The sea is definitely a sight to behold, the beach is nice too. There is a Sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi and indoor pool in the hotel. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and colleagues.

Bought a Groupon for a two day staycation and was extremely happy with the value for the price we paid. The hotel seems like new and the Premium room we stayed in was like new. The linens and towels felt like we were the first people to be using them and the quality of the mattress and pillows is as good or better than high end hotels we have stayed in. Our room was on the second floor in the middle section with a great view of the pool and straight out to the Arabian Gulf. The size was larger than most rooms with a desk, small couch, chair and balcony. The pool is adequate size and again, the loungers and even the pool towels appeared to be new. The loungers have great padding and were extremely comfortable. We were very happy with the staff as well and they seem to take great care of the hotel. You can tell they pay attention to the details as the chairs, table, and floor of the balcony were dust free and clean. We stayed during Ramadan and the hotel seemed to be very busy, especially during the Iftar meals, but the staff did the best they could to accommodate the crowd. I'm sure this was challenging for them given some very pushy people who didn't seem to understand how to wait in line to be served their meals.

The view from the hotel room was astounding; all room facilities were top notch standard; morning walk around the vicinity was very calming with the sea view as it's a great location, set away from the busy city. The food served for breakfast was fresh and delicious with a large variety. All precautions were taken during this Covid19 season ensuring safety for all. All staff was warm and friendly especially Daniella who ensured everything was well taken care of during our stay.
