I happened by Shambala on a long hot walk from the main road to Kabak beach, whilst escaping from the terrible tourist trap which Olu Deniz has become.
It is verdant, shady, leafy and tranquil with amazing views and very kind staff.
My tree house needed some maintenance but the bed was comfortable and the sheets clean. I slept well.
The only complaint I have, and this goes for anywhere I've been in Turkey, is the constant music, which at Shamabal seemed to be on a loop. It's all trancy house music and audible until midnight. It's not unpleasant, but would get on my nerves after a while.
I would definitely go back. The drinks aren't overpriced as claimed and the food was delicious.
The beautiful Kabak beach is 10 mins easy walk and you can eat and drink there also.
