The Shambala is a hidden gem in the forest of Kabak. The property is beautiful and the location is perfect, close enough to the beach with a short walk or shuttle ride, but far enough away to avoid the noise and crowds if you wish. The infinity pool is an especially nice touch to enjoy the property and gorgeous views. The staff are so friendly and go out of the their way to offer help every time they can. Along with the serenity of the property and all it has to offer, the food is definitely a highlight. With the dinner and breakfast buffet included in the price of the room I expected the food to be adequate at Best. Not so, the food was among the best hotel food I have ever tasted! With 2 main courses at dinner and a large variety of sides and salads, all seasoned and spiced perfectly, it is hard to save room for the delicious desserts. And the food is different each day, making meal time a highlight! The price is a little higher at the Shambala than in the valley, but the other properties cannot even begin to compare in location, beauty, and overall quality. The Shambala is worth far more than the price.

I have visited many places in south Turkey, but after seeing Kabak, the rest doesn’t really matter anymore. Apart from being beautiful and calm, the menagement has almost best food I had in a hotel served by nicest staff I have encountered. I recommend this place as one of the most soothing and pleasant trip choice availible in turkey.
