We stayed for 6 nights in Alam Shanti and just wished we had stayed longer! We had a lovely big room with a balcony overlooking the gardens where we had breakfast most days. Breakfasts were generous and very yummy, with lots of options - but we could not go past the banana pancakes! Service was fantastic and all the staff were very friendly! Afternoon tea was served each day and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. The main street of Ubud is only a short walk away and they also offer a free shuttle service. We can’t wait to come back!

How wonderful it was to return after the far too long Covid hiatus!! Still wonderful, still many of the same lovely employees (Hi Ayu and Kadek!💖) still the same delicious breakfast and fantastic service - Alam Shanti I missed you so much!! Can’t wait to return again VERY soon 💖 Really can’t fault this place, 10/10 always!

I wouldn't change a thing about Alam Shanti, it's one of the most beautiful, welcoming, relaxing and authentic places I have ever stayed. The rooms are spacious and gorgeously furnished, the staff so friendly and kind, the gardens are incredible - it's an absolutely haven in busy Ubud. Shanti is ideal for family groups - we booked Gangga and Yamuna, two one-bedroom suites in one house that share a stunning private pool. The privacy and poolside-service was fantastic. The spa is great and amazing value. Alam Shanti also organised a bicycle tour for us which was excellent. There is a real sense of genuine Balinese hospitality here that I highly recommend.
