Visited this lovely hotel for 3 nights in October with my boyfriend.
It’s located on the next street over from the Main Street in ubud, there’s a convenient cut thought to the Main Street about a 10 mins walk from the hotel which brings you out right next to the monkey forest.
The hotel is in a lovely quiet area amongst the rice fields, very picturesque but still very close to great restaurants, ATM and shops.
There is only about 30 rooms in the hotel so it’s very boutique, we stayed in a deluxe room which was huge. The bed was very comfy and ginormous, same for the bathroom, huge bath with rain shower in the middle.
Very fluffy towels, could do with more than 2 though!
Room had a key safe, complimentary bottles of water, hairdryer, kettle, tea and coffee - best of all is the sockets in Bali take UK plugs!
The 2 pools were lovely, very quiet - pool towels were laid out for you as well. The pool that overlooked the rice field was dreamy and great for photos! Always managed to get a sunbed as well.
The restaurant was located across the rice field in a open air building. Good choice for breakfast, they had an egg station, fresh fruit, toast and traditional Balinese noodles - plenty to fill you up.
WiFi was ok, it did sign you out after a few minutes but good enough to check emails, upload photos etc.
Reception recommended and booked a driver for the day for us (Ngurah) - only 500,000 rupee, about £30 we saw all the main sights - temples, coffee plantation, main rice terrace, swings, waterfalls. Really good service, very knowledgable guide and great price!
Overall, very pretty hotel, great service and great price!
