Don't trust the pictures

Reviewed Feb 10, 2015via mobile
It's really sad to see the pictures right now, because it make me think how it still could look like...

U can't swim in the pool at all. It's green water and plants r taking over the place and the pool itself.

The rooms r all right.
-the bathroom is old but clean
-the owner really nice
-the air con stops working a lot of times, but he is fixing it directly (problem with the switch )
-ants as soon as u leave something lying around, so be careful with food
-it's close to a big and cheap market with everything (from water to fruits, chocolate, cookies, salad etc)
-only 150.000 (rupiah) per night for two people with aircon so really really cheap!
-the moskitos can be a pain in the a* ...but only when u sit outside, luckily never had some in the room
-the wifi is from the place next door, so no conection or only bad...

Have a look by yourself! If it's ok for u and u are not expecting so much it's alright!

if you need a cheap place to stay and dont care about tidiness - feel free to stay.
i personally think that the glory of this place faded away a long time ago.

We spent 4 days in this bungalow, everything nice, staff is also really friendly. Good location in the city close to yoga barn, restaurant and supermarket ! We recommend this guesthouse to everybody. The manager wayan is amazing person, always smiling and full of good tip to enjoy ur holiday in Bali.

pros: room was clean enough (although the bathroom kinda stunk at times). price was reasonable for what it gives, esp compared to similar places in the area. wifi very good.
cons: service was 6/10. had to ask for my breakfast even after i told them i wanted it at 9. waited quite a while for it. staff also quite pushy when offering tours/bikes at an inflated price. location was deep inside hanoman, quite a walk to main ubud street.

We were recommended to this place by some friends who told us it was a great place to get some of the old charm of Ubud as it was before it got commercial and glitzy. And it was just that. Extremely friendly and sooooo relaxed. Sure it is a little tired around the edges but if you want to soak up the Ubud atmosphere it's great. We like to organise ourselves but if you like the friendly staff here will do it all for you. Would love to stay again.

I stayed in this place twice and I really like it there. The garden is amazing. Some people maybe won't like the back yard with not working swimming pool, but for me it was lovely. You can relax there and watch the sunset behind a rice field. Stuff is really friendly and helpful with smile on their faces. Outdoor shower is amazing!
