This was me second Visit to the Hotel in 10 years, and this is my honest review.
Plus points, the Location is fantastic, surrounded by beautiful sand stone Hills contrasted by the perfectly kept gardens which are maintained every day by gardeners, the pool is a perfect temperature which is rare for Egypt,
most hotel pools are freezing weirdly, easy access to the reef via a small jetty
although best to go before about 10 am as the wind picks up and cuts down on visibility.

It is quite a small Hotel so no long hikes to your room, Bars, Beach or Restaurant of which there is only one but you can get lunch from Pool bar
for a small cost. The rooms are fine if a little dated with a nice cold fridge
and decent aircon, bathrooms also a little dated but fine for a holiday and mine had a decent balcony with Sea and pool view.

The guests are very Mixed I would say 40% European 40% Egyptian/Arabic and 20% British which I prefer to all one Nationality.

Animation is very low key which again I prefer to having repetitive music
blasting out round the pool all day and the animation team are very friendly
but not in your face and you are not constantly bothered on sun beds by
People offering you Spa treatments or Day trips, yes they have a Spa which is apparently very good but I did not try it.

Dive centre is very good, so a shout out to Shukti the manager and Adam and the two Mohamed`s one of which went back to search for my Mask
when I lost it on a reef and brought it back to Hotel for me, very efficient
professional team.

Easy access to Dahab town via free Hotel Shuttle which runs four times a day and is free, I went into town every evening and a Taxi back cost 3-5
pounds from the very friendly Bedouin Taxi drivers which are always sitting
around the town square.

All the staff at the Pool Bar are very friendly in fact all the Staff are super friendly and a credit to the Hotel and a shout out to Ahmed the top fella that
takes your bags to your room, he never failed to make me smile ,

Now the few negatives, the selection of food for breakfast and Lunch is not great which is understandable as like the rest of the world the Egyptian economy is suffering and Egypt possibly worse than others and the Hotel
is working to a budget, that said it was all perfectly cooked and the Restaurant staff where Great,

The Pool Bar and Main Bar do not have a great selection of Branded spirits
if any and the beers and cocktails come in small plastic glasses which is one of my pet hates, I took my own spirits with me and bought Mixers Tonic etc
and Sakara Beer in Town most nights, I kept meaning to look for a decent Pint Glass and a Bowl shaped Vodka and tonic Glass in Town but kept forgetting, weird how it always tastes better out of a decent glass. The lads
at the Pool bar did however stock me up all day long with Ice for my cooler
and I had a nice lunch at Pool Bar, Cream of Tomato Soup, Fish and chips
and the biggest Creme Caramel I have ever seen.

So this is a 4 star review, it would be 5 with a few Tweaks and I will without doubt return due to the Staff, Location and tranquillity of the Hotel.

The Staff are a credit, from the Front desk, security and all in the Hotel.
