Our stay with you has been a life altering event and an experience to never be forgotten. Soon is not soon enough for our return. The Scandi diver resort staff, now our new family embraced us and provided a unique experience from day one. At the start before we even arrived every staff member knew us by face and name.

Some places claim all inclusive, but Scandi Dive resort sets the bar. All we had to do was show up to the Philippine airport and everything else was taken care of. They arranged travel form the airport, accommodations for a ferry, including setting up a stay at another hotel in Manila to accommodate our arrival that was one day early to our reservations. At our departure from the ferry ride we were greeted by the entire staff at the beach, and given tropical drinks, shell necklaces, and provided a very informative yet brief introduction to what we will be experiencing and the broad range of services included and not included as part of our stay. As this was happening a team of people provided massages giving us all a tease of what to expect for our upcoming free one hour massage that was part of our stay. My wife and I strongly recommend the five hour package, its the equivalent to a spa day that will cost less than a hundred dollars for a couple. FYI when it comes to tipping, hold off until the very end, except for tipping the message therapists, they are contracted staff we tipped them at the time of each service.

When we arrived it was a celebration from the very start Tarth lasted all though-out the stay. Our air conditioned room was located outside of the pool, we had access to Wi-Fi for three electronic items, per guest and Wi-Fi services met needs for all of use to share on social media, communicate back home with family and friends, and one of our travel companions was currently enrolled in online collage courses who was able to keep up with their classes while the rest of us dove. The grounds and the facilities is more than just a place for the Scandi staff and there is a tremendous amount of pride that goes into their work. The grounds are kept immaculate and clean. During our stay we experienced a tropical storm that brought high tides that brought sand and beach drift onto the sidewalks that were quickly cleaned off at the start of the day, eleven knowing is was just going to come back that night. Every morning the beaches were raked and groomed in front of the resort

super comfortable bed, comfortable bathroom accommodations, house keeping is a 10 out of ten!!! Every day we opened up our room door and found that housekeeping provided treasures and trinkets we will keep forever. Decorative displays with towels and tropical flower arrangements, and the freshest linens to sleep in. The hotel offers a laundry service that is beyond cheap, and brought to your room. No need to over pack a bunch of clothing. Besides your going to want to leave room in your luggage to bring home some of the great treasures you will find from around town or the local village that sells super cheap hand crafted items.

We called the resort ahead of time and asked if their were nay needs the community had that we could bring with us that we could provide from the community as a form of humanitarian effort and a act of good will. I would recommend it if its in your budget to do so. This also will allow you to have an extra bag to fill with goodies to bring home with you.

The administrative staff are top notch!!!! This 10 day trip we took was to celebrate mine and my wives 50th birthdays, hers occurred during our trip. The staff helped me put together a mind blowing surprise part not once but twice that has created a level of fun that will be nearly impossible to match. This party was the catalyst in creating a bond with the Scandi dive resort staff that has transitioned from service providers to friends, to what we now consider an extension of our family! This place will blow your mind and introduce you to a whole new understanding of celebration and fun. Including fireworks, customized banner that we took photos with under water on a specially selected dive for the birthday girl. We had a huge buffet and snack bar, two outrageous cakes, singing and dancing. They collected videos from friends and family and made a video presentation as part of the birthday celebration that allowed birthday wishes not only from those that were present but also from those back home. A very special shout out to Angel who will go to whatever lengths to make your stay special and unique.

The kitchen staff provided a multitude of meal options meeting our entire groups tastes and dietary needs that observed allergies and dietary restrictions with an appetizer, main course and a desert that was not only delicious but plated to perfection in such a way that Chef Gordon Ramsey would approve. It was very clear that cooking is more than a passion to the kitchen staff it is an expression of themselves. I am a finicky eater and had some contempt prior to starting this trip on whether or not i would enjoy the food. I was blown away at how much i enjoyed every meal. There were only a couple meals that i did not favor what was being served and the kitchen staff accommodated me with my very own meal selection. Our cups were always full, and we never had a dirty plate sit in front of us at the table for more than a few brief minutes. The dining staff ensured every meal was served in the best environment and that the only attention we needed to put effort into was enjoying the camaraderie at the table.

The dive team provided us with detailed, safe, and structured dives that took time to show every biodiverse detail that Puerto Galera and Verdi Island offers. Every dive was specific to our interests and guided to point out every fascinating detail and creature the Philippine watershas to offer every diver. The trips to each dive were short and comfortable and the ratio of dive master to divers was small enough to ensure a perfect individualized experience on each dive specific for either observation or photography. What I enjoyed most at the end I of every dive was being handed a hot towel as you got out of the water. It’s always the little details your team, our new family, observed that made us feel so very special. Our gear was cared for and checked between n each dive. Obviously we checked our gear before every dive, but the concerns for our gear were always monitored to allow our focus not on maintenance but on enjoying every dive. Every one form our group brought their own gear to dive with but it is there to rent if needed. THE TANKS ARE FILLED FULL FOR EVERY DIVE! Our package offered unlimited nitros dives, a choice I encourage to take. We dove 4 dives a day. First dive meeting started usually at 8, then 10, followed back at 1pm and a night dive meeting up at 6pm this schedule worked great in allowing others to take advantage of some of the other services offered at the motel, meal times and adventuring the town at night. Even though the accommodations were very comfortable we spent very little time in our rooms. After a day of diving, it was great to spend time out on the sky bridge amongst friends and with the staff who were great fun.

The dive gear is handled by the staff but one feature i especially enjoyed about the facility is that it includes a camera room for storage and care for your gear that had entire banks of plug ins that did not require adapters to charge tour electronics, batteries, phones, or flashlights. With air stations to blow down your gear at the end of every dive. In the camera room there is also an entire library of identification guides to help you identify what you saw or took pictures of.
