A gem of a hotel hidden away.

We were 3 motorcyclists travelling around Europe for 3 weeks. The Angels Hotel was booked months before setting off as I read that the owner was helpful to bikers. How right we were, prior to checking in my colleague needed new tyres and Arkan the owner booked my colleague in to a little tyre shop and did all the necessary negotiations.
The hotel itself nestles in a quietish back street away from the real busy area but it is easily accessible.
The rooms are very well appointed, spotlessly clean and ran by professional and super friendly staff.
Breakfast can be taken in the open air rooftop restaurant and again beautifully laid out will typical local foods.
This hotel is a lovely find and i would not hesitate to return.
Date of stay: July 2024
Room Tip: Arkan the owner is approachable for all your needs prior to checking in.

The room was clean and comfortable and staff was warm and friendly. The hotel has a great view of The Blue Mosque which can be viewed from the top terrace. The breakfast catered to a variety of tastes offering, fruits, cereals, pastries, cheeses, eggs, salads and meats. And they had cake and cookies which was a guilty pleasure for myself but what the heck, I’m on vacation.
The location of the hotel was convenient, it is tucked away in a quiet and safe area but still close enough to many restaurants, cafes, bazaars and attractions. Highly recommended choosing this hotel for your stay in Istanbul.

Room tip: If you plan to visit during the summer months please bring sun block and stay hydrated.

Can't understand some of the negative comments about the Angel's Home. If I wasn't entirely satisfied, I most certainly wouldn't have gone back or recommend, but just returned from another stay and, if ever in Istanbul again, would again. Sure, it has a certain quirkiness and it sure isn't a cookie-cutter chain establishment, but it's clean, comfortable and good value for money. Obviously, the location can't be beaten and it's great to enjoy breakfast on the rooftop terrace with views of the Bosphorus and the Blue Mosque. The rooms may not be the hugest if you're in a budget one but it's scrupulously clean, the bed is comfortable, the shower good and the AC does what it's meant to. The staff are extremely welcoming and always helpful. What more could you need?

Everything was perfect! The location right in the historic center, exactly as we wanted. Very close to the tourist attractions, shops and restaurants. It doesn't have a parking lot, but right next to the hotel there is one and you can paid. The room is very clean and has everything you need. Minibar included in the price. It was cleaned daily, even if we didn't specifically ask for it, the towels were changed daily. In the room I had a smart TV with netflix available. Even though it was specified that they don't have staff to help with luggage, they still helped us, a fact that impressed us from the moment we arrived. The staff is very kind, pleasant and with a smile on their face every time. Diversified breakfast, very tasty and more than enough. The hotel's terrace is wonderful, with a view of the Blue Mosque and the Bosfor! Great pictures can be taken. The Wi-Fi works perfectly. I particularly liked the fact that the call to prayer can be heard from the hotel. We had a little trouble on our last night in Istanbul, but the owner tried to help us with advice and cheer us up with a souvenir and a gift. Thank you very much for everything! When the opportunity arises, we will gladly return with the whole family, as we promised! You are great, good people!

What a fantastic hotel Angels home is, this is our third visit at the hotel and first since the newly renovated rooms. They have done a fantastic job with the rooms they are clean and to a very high standard. We also love the area it’s perfect for a couple wanting to be near the tourist areas ( 5 mins from blue mosque) but also in a lovely beautiful area full of small restaurants and bars. Thank you for a great stay we will be back ❤️

Room tip: Perfect for couples lovely area and only 5 mins walk to tourist areas
