The need for a quick snack has always been a need of mine and the Cinnamon Grand has been the first and most ideal choice when it’s time for delicious, hygienic food of great taste!
The Coffee Stop located in the front foyer of the Cinnamon Grand offers a wide range of ready – to – go options with a designer menu designed with short and sweet answers to hunger has been a favorite venue either for partaking whilst sitting down in the salubrious confines of its lounge in cozy comfortable chairs or for enjoyment at home cum office via Flavours, the efficient delivery arm of the Cinnamon Grand.
I was very keen to find out the selection available at the Coffee Stop and when stepping in I had the coincidence and good fortune of meeting Mr. Namal Jayalath, the Assistant Food & Beverages Manager of the Cinnamon Grand, who on duty that afternoon amidst his supervisory rounds in the hotel. He had the time for me and on request on what was available as take away, kindly introduced me to the delicious range of Jar Cakes available at the Coffee Stop in a variety of delicious flavors. With eager anticipation, I approached this food court showcase and was pleased to see a fine assortment of attractive Jar Cakes. These cakes were sitting inside translucent glass bottles in a myriad twists and attractive rainbow colors that had neatly sealed lids.
I was drawn to them and bought my share and enjoyed this delicacy with folks at home for the next couple of days and refrigeration was no hassle as the lovely, bottled presentation provides for convenient and easy cold storage.
Ever since then I have regularly enjoyed the Jar Cakes of the Cinnamon Grand and am grateful to Mr. Namal Jayalath and the Cinnamon Grand team for concoction of this unique delicacy made available at an affordable price.
