We thoroughly enjoyed our accommodations at Laru Beya. Our suite came with a beautiful view of both the pool and Caribbean. But the more important part of the stay was the superior service we got. From the office staff to the cleaning staff and of course Nelly. Everybody was so nice. We would easily stay there again.

The resort is gorgeous, clean, very accommodating. We loved our room so much we will ask for it again. Our patio was an open door to the pool, beach, and restaurant. The staff were outstanding. Donnie, Erica, Cici, Jordy, Nelci addressed us by our names from the first day. The food is great- my dietary restrictions were never an issue and there were always several options to choose. I would recommend the all-inclusive package- we rarely ate the same thing twice as there’s so many delicious options. We chose Mayan ruins, snorkeling, and the Monkey River cruise. All three were excellent.
As good as the food, excursions, property, and location are- the staff makes this 5 stars. I can’t say enough how wonderful every single encounter we had with staff was to us. They treated us like family and we can’t wait to return again.

From booking through check out this resort made sure every detail was perfect. We were greeted at the airport with a flight to the resort. We had three great excursion that were scheduled perfectly though the resort. We stayed in an ocean front suite that was perfect. Big spacious rooms and a great balcony overlooking the ocean. The entire resort was immaculately clean. The quarter deck was just a few steps from the room and served every excellent meals. We especially enjoyed the grilled lobster, blackened fish dinner and the authentic Maya lunch. From a relaxing sunrise breakfast to the formal evening meal, it was perfect and delicious. The personal touch from the staff was outstanding.

We just returned from five wonderful nights at Laru Beya Resort. We stayed in a two bedroom ocean front suite. It was amazing to sleep with the window open and listen to the waves crash into the shore. I can't say enough about the staff at this resort. A few I can mention by name as we saw them on multiple occasions. Erika, Nelsy, Jordy and Donny (I apologize if I misspelled any). Everyone is so friendly, so accommodating. They want to make your vacation as pleasurable and easy as possible. We had a slight hiccup on return domestic flights and Donny had it fixed in no time. We so enjoyed hearing the staff's stories of where they lived and what life is like living in this beautiful country. I even tried to change jobs with Nelsy but she said her office had a better view. My dad has some mobility issues and the staff went out of their way to make things easier for him. The food, the drinks, all were delicious. Things are on island time, so keep that in mind. Our room was always kept clean as were the beaches and grounds.
If you are looking for a beach to be able to bask on, this probably isn't your area. There really isn't a large beach area. But the pool is so close to the beach and they do have chairs sitting close to the beach to enjoy. While we were there, there was quite a bit of "vegetation" that was brought in by the tide which made swimming on the beach area not as fun.
If you are looking to relax, have a great view, with great food/drinks and close access to the village. This is your place. We would definitely return again. Thanks for a wonderful couples/family vacation.

I have never had such an accommodating and friendly staff at a resort. We we traveling with our older parents one who has a breathing problem. Donny helped us at every step and fixed problems that we had encountered . Jordy, Nelsa and Erica took time with us and showed excellent service. They remembered all our names and catered to us. They reserved the lowest table for us for every meal. The food was spectacular and I rarely had the same thing for our visit. The housekeepers and groundskeepers also did a spectacular job. Everyone was friendly and made us feel welcome. We booked the monkey river tour and it was great. My wife and sister went on the snorkeling tour and had a great time. We took golf carts into town and along with the recommendations had a wonderful time. I would like to return again for sure
