Loved my time here. The staff very welcoming and ever so friendly. Anything you need they always will help. The cabin was spotless. So close to nature and the staff very knowledgeable of you wanted to know more. A good location with being far enough from the main centre for solitude but close enough if you want to walk in..(albeit a bit of a slope)
So surrounded in nature 😍 Lots of nice outdoor seating!
Great food ate all our meals here for a great price.

Nice place in the middle of a jungle. Very friendly and helpful staff members. Location is in a walking distance to San Ignacio center. That is if you don’t mind climbing some hills and walking some stretch along a road. Probably 15-20min. Otherwise taxi is $5. Nice little pool, perfect for cooling down. Would stay again!
Where to start... to sum it up in one word: PARADISE. And that doesn't even come close to fully describing what you'll experience at Maya Mountain Lodge. It's the people- from Levi and Gian managing the resort, to Tio and his wife Francelia's delicious cooking at the lodge dining... THAT'S what makes this place so special to us. No amount of reviews will ever do the Maya Mountain Lodge justice- just like pictures of the Grand Canyon- the only way to get it is to go there and experience it for yourselves.

Great place! Probably one of my favorites that I have ever traveled to. We only stayed 3 nights but I wish it was more. Close enough to town you could walk if your up to it or take a short taxi. San Ignacio is one of my most favorite places that we stayed at in Belize. If you are looking for more fancy or higher end you will not get this here but if you want a quiet nature feel then you get exactly that. The staff are so kind and helpful. We never ended up eating a meal here with our short time our days were busy off the grounds but based off reviews I wish we had the opportunity to. I hope to be back one day
