We went to spend Easter for just two nights. It was a very nice place to stay for a few days and visit Cairns and its islands. Only 15 min walking from the shops and bars. Quiet suburb to have a nice sleep. Comfortable beds and room. Team very friendly.
The hotel is really nice. The rooms were absolutely perfect and extremely clean. Our room had a wide closet and a big bathtub. We found everything we needed. The staff is very kind and helpful at all times. The esplanade is between 5 to 10 minutes walk, We had a great experience during our stay!!
I have been staying at Tropical Heritage for at least 6 years. The staff are friendly, smiling and always willing to help. The accomodation is clean, tidy and comfortable. The beds are comfortable and linen fresh and clean. The bathroom is spacious and very clean.
We stayed in the two bedroom apartment with a kitchen in one room. A bit of an over kill for us this trip as we only stayed two nights but will certainly use the rooms on an extended visit. Whilst we didn’t use the kitchenware it appears that everything is supplied. My only criticism is the microwave requires relocating as it is to high for safe use.
We have stayed in most of the room combinations over the years and always the rooms are clean, tidy and comfortable. I have found Tropical Heritage one of the best motels in Cairns and is very good value.
The hotel is conveniently located and within easy walking distance of the Esplanade, restaurants along the Esplanade, waterfront and Cairns Central. Cairns Hospital and medical practises are only a couple of blocks away as well.
Tropical Heritage is a great place to stay and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Small walk to main strip (which is great when you are walking tea off!) - maybe 5 minutes so nothing too strenuous. Super comfy mattress and pillows and very clean. Excellent value for money. Quiet location as well with no road noise

Family run business which provides a neat, clean personal service. I have given this an excellent rating because this hotel provides a great service for the money you pay. The rooms are clean and well kept and sure, all the furniture and decor is not brand new but it all works just fine. The shower has plenty of water pressure and the bed was very comfortable.
This hotel is located on Minnie street so it is the perfect distance to walk the Cairns Esplanade from the beginning to the Lagoon which I enjoyed doing everyday. In fact, the location of this place actually encourages you to take this walk. There is no better way to enjoy what Cairns has to offer from an aesthetic walking experience as this 10-15 minute stroll is just lovely.
The people at the front desk are very friendly, offering a very personal touch which you get with this family business. Jordan in particular was most helpful and provided excellent tourist advice and support for our holiday.
