Fantastic Stay

Everything about this hotel is amazing, staff can't do enough for you, standard's are high.
The whole hotel has a lovely Japanese theme throughout from the structure to the door number plaques and the decor
Lots of choices of bars (my favouritewas The Tea House at night by the pool was lovely), pools, restaurants, and shops
Cocktails are lovely and lots of choice for drinks
Food is amazing with a huge choice and 3 themed restaurants (you do need to pay extra for these and we thought we had one included in our package but it didn't start till May) and several other eating places. We loved the restaurant on the left before the beach
Right on the beach with pier and beach bar and watersports.
The kids loved the water park and you even got staff asking if you wanted drinks whilst sunbathing
The entertainment was good, foam and color party, Easter Festival, Magic Show Etc
The pools meander through the gardens with cabanas dotted about
Rooms are huge with mini bar filled daily
We were 1111 and had a lovely sea view.
Didnt use the hotel shops but Migros Supermarket across the road was very cheap
People mentioned cats but these are looked after by the hotel, there's even a cat house and tips pot for them

I was slightly anxious prior to arriving at the resort due to some poor reviews from others from the UK, however, I needn't have worried. The resort itself is huge (than we are used to) and all well kept with seeing various members of staff cleaning regularly.
When we initially arrived at around 1. 30am in the morning we were put in room 3002 which although was a lovely huge room for a family of 4 (1 double bed, 2 single beds and 2 bathrooms) it was on the -2 floor which is the floor where the arcade; shops and bar is on. Quiet at 1.30am however woken up at 7.30am by Resort (On The Beach) rep then when we tried to get an early night that night the Arcade decided to put on dance music at 11pm which when opposite the room made it impossible to sleep. I asked the Arcade to switch it off due to children trying to sleep and they told me to go and tell reception (rudely). I told reception who said security would deal with it and it did get switched off for 10 mins only for it to then start up again as loud as ever until gone midnight! :-( Then the next morning the lobby music came on nearly as loud at 7.30am! As we didn't want to come on holiday to be sleep deprived we asked to change room, which I'm glad we did as we then got put in a lovely, quiet room on the 7th floor.
The food was lovely and plentiful, it was a shame the a la cartes weren't available in the Easter holidays which would have made a nice change as towards the end of our 9 day stay the children were getting fed up with the same food (available to them). I recommend going to the restaurant by the beach bar for lunch, lovely waiters and table service made a nice change from the buffet. The bar staff, although some struggled with English, were very attentive. The pattiserie is also a must visit whilst here with lovely pastries, cheesecake and coffee.
The pools and slides were good although as others have said, are cold this time of year. My children decided they preferred the indoor pool was better due to this which was a great option as the spa area is open to all with use of the sauna (steam room was closed?) and Hammam. The spa manager didn't pester for us to get a massage which was a welcome change from such resort. We did go with our rep for a Turkish spa which was value for money but was packed inside with tourists so not very relaxing!
The entertainment was great, with the children very much catered for including a foam party and inflatables on the pool and grass area.
All in all, for the price we paid, I felt it was very much value for money and wouldn't hesitate in recommending this resort to others.

Room tip: Avoid any rooms on -2 floor especially room 3002 which is directly opposite Arcade which is open until midnight every night. Get lunch at the restaurant by the beach bar

Just arrived back from a fabulous stay at Lima Lara. Previously to our stay at the Limak Lara delux me and my partner checked numerous trip advisor reviews and after reading some of the negative reviews we was very skeptical about our upcoming stay and wondered if we should change hotels. We did not in the end and we are very pleased we didn’t. Corresponding to peoples negative reviews we could not find any of these faults-
room was always spotless fresh towels daily and bed changes are made, our maid was always very welcoming, we stayed in room 1749.
Mini bar restocked daily. If you want bottled beers restocked you need to upgrade to the ultra all inclusive charged at €5 each per day which will also include imported drinks served at bars.
Easy and friendly service in all bars and restaurants.
Most of the bars we wouldn’t need to go up to the bar as a waiter/waitress made sure we always had a full glass.
Great pool service from the guys on roller skates.
Pool area and hotel kept immaculate.
Always something going on if you would like to join in activities for children and adults.

We would only make slight suggestions for the hotel and that would be to:

1. Include an adult only area section around one of the quieter pools and at dinner time.
2. If you upgrade to a purple band to include more benefits other than imported alcohol such as free room service and money off al a carte restaurants or to increase the price for purple bands to €10 euro per day and have the Al a carte restaurants included for free. (We feel the Al a carte restaurants would become more used by doing so).
3. For the evening buffet to be open until 21: 30 as we found by 20:45 things was being packed away and when on holiday we like to take our time and we felt slightly rushed going there after 20:00.
4. For an all day snack bar to be available throughout the day.

Would like to say a special thank you to Hyanna who worked the tea house, sports bar and lobby most evenings, she made our stay very welcome and always greeted us with a huge smile nothing was too much to asked and would always make sure we was happy.

Overall we have had a wonderful stay at Limak Lara and would definitely return.

Limak Lara is a big hotel, like a block of flats with balconies. Our room was on the first floor. It was small, but very clean with a great shower. The mini bar was re-filled daily. The food was amazing and there was lots of choice. The fresh fish was great. The waiters are very friendly and fast at serving and tidying up. They look very smart in waistcoats and bow ties. The swimming pool is large with another pool going round the outside with bridges you can walk over. There are also pavillions you can hire for the day, but cost 40 Euros, so we didn't do this. My 12 year old daughter loved the water slides :-) The bar staff are friendly but sometimes it felt like they were extra friendly to get tips! There was a bar tender on roller skates zooming round the pool asking people if they wanted a drink, this was great :-) Also, there is a big outside fridge where you can help yourself to water in cartons - brilliant idea. There was a foam party, which was great fun. Also, a "space party", which was amazing with a live DJ and lots of lazer lights. There are quite a few shops outside the hotel. The assistants stand outside and try to get you to buy items. However, they are more friendly and hard working than some of the lazy shop assistants in England!

Our main problem was half way through the holiday Reception told us we'd paid for "ultra all-inclusive". This should have entitled us to "brand named drinks". However, there was no Bacardi or Malibu. They did have Baileys, but we had to ask for the brand every time! It was very frustrating as we had to wait at least 20 minutes for it as they couldn't find it! One time, they even had cheap Baileys in a brand Baileys bottle and tried to fob us off! We reported it to bar Managers who tried to help, but generally we had the same problem every time we ordered it!

We booked with Thomas Cook and after talking to other guests, we paid almost double for our holiday! At the time of booking, we wasn't told about the "ultra all-inclusive", otherwise we wouldn't have got it!! We feel Thomas Cook totally ripped us off!

First time to this hotel! Overall the hotel is good! But areas are needed in order to be the five star it states it is!

The good points this hotel is geared for family’s so if family time & entertainment etc for them! It’s right up there for them things, but if you are going as friends or over 30’s this isn’t the hotel for you!
The place is clean everything & anything is clean which is a win win for me!

The room we had a family suite which was large enough,very clean with a small pool view!Only thing is you are looking into other peoples bedrooms & them into yours! The noise at night is a problem because of the children running around & couples rowing!
Amazing on towels bedding etc! Every second day which I haven’t seen in so 5 star hotel in other parts of the world!

Food! Same things everything day! Just moved around! Vegetarian it’s very limited! Drinks! Can get somethings some places & not others it’s hit & miss!

Staff,better English is needed in order to have better understand of you! But will do anything for you! Some are a-little rude! But that’s more because of the language barrier than anything else!

Entertainment is good foam/paint party amazing etc the Saturday events was also very good! The event on every night can be a little explicit! So can be a little worrying for the little people! Also same act on said nights again rinse & repeat!

Overall a good time! But needs improvement to get the five stars from me!

Ps double check time travel on trips you book! We were sat on a bus for six hours!

Nice hotel, very clean. Staff are always cleaning everywhere you go.
Some parts were not to our taste and catered more towards families, we were a group of ladies.
Food was OK, but more catered towards European countries - lots of lamb, whole fish.
Foam / colour party and laser party was fabulous.
Toilets are always clean.

There were a few members of staff who really stood out.
Firstly Songul the cleaner, was so helpful and made us feel lovely. Her cleaning was to a higher standard than other cleaners during our stay. She always checked that her cleaning was of good standard and asking if we needed more before she left our room. Beautiful towels decorated as swans and hearts on the bed.

The next member of staff was Atilla özilice from the zen restaurant. He was very friendly and helpful. He remembered our drinks order everyday and helpful with information to obtain water and milk for the kettle in the room.

The final member was Sarvinoz Shamansurova from zen restaurant, this lovely little lady was always smiling and attended our table for frequent clearing of empty plates and getting drinks for us. She was a hard worker, we didn't see her stop.

Things to improve:
-more vegetarian food
-all areas should do the same drinks as each bar had different drinks.
-make cocktails available on the beach bar.
-more entertainment for adults as more catered to the children.
-some staff to be able to speak better English.
