Great location, reasonable price, comfortable bed, friendly staff, and nice restaurant would be the best way to summarize the hotel, and yes, I would definitely stay here again. The hotel is right on a bus route, number 8,
from hotel to the water front, 10 minutes of bus ride. If you walk around the block, you get more options for public transportations. Tourists get free public transportation passes, ask the front desk, and they will set it up for you.

The mattress may be thin, but it’s surprisingly comfortable and you can get a good night of sleep on it. The desk area is big enough to do work.

The room comes with two large bath towels, two bottles if body wash, and two cup. If you need things not on my list, bring or buy them. For example, if you like a bar of soap for shower, bring your own. If you like antibacterial soap, bring your own or buy. Bring your own wash cloth. Next time, I will bring all these items. 😀

The front desk team is very friendly, especially Manuel.

I came with my colleagues for work in March 2023. The room was cleaned but no really cleaned, I still saw dirt when I came back. It took them ages to check-us in and we were asked to pay city tax. We did in cash and we asked for a receipt but they never gave it to us and we had to pay AGAIN when we checked out because of their mistake. The room is very basic nothing there no coffee no tea nothing. We asked them to provide us with a kettle and they refused claiming they don't have one!!!!! My major issue with them is that on the day we arrived in the evening there was a group of people with special needs on wheelchairs and had luggage with them that they were pulling and pushing and can you imagine doing that when you are on a wheelchair???? There was NO STAFF to accompany the people with special needs to their rooms and my colleagues and I did that wholeheartedly. BUT do you want to check in to a hotel that prepared zero arrangements for people with special needs and let other inmates accompany there to their rooms knowing their vulnerability? It was a big group so of course the hotel knew who was coming but didn't care. That was really shocking.

This hotel is located 5 stops away from the central station Gare Carnavin which has its pros:

- the neighborhood is very quiet - absolutely no noise at any time of the day
- room was very clean, almost spotless
- availability of a standart plug/socket was a great benefit
- free transport card (!) - the best ever opportunity
- toiletries of pleasant smell and good quality
- shower of good pressure
- bus stop just a few steps away
- bed and linen of good quality
- fresh breakfast
- daily room service
- speedy wifi

Cons:
- a bit out of the city center - either you have to take a bus or walk about 45 minutes to see the Old town
- no free water, no fridge, no slippers, no bathrobe - very basic room. The only thing comfortable to do in the hotel is to sleep.
- buffet breakfast offers only 2 warm dishes (sausage and eggs), and very limited cold cuts. Even though, coffee was very good.
- staff is polite, more or less helpful but not pretty much caring.
- far too overpriced.

My recommendation is to book this hotel if you are on a business trip for UN or Global Health Campus, but search for a more convenient option if you wanna explore the city center.

Hints: the kitchen is very good out of the breakfast hours - they cook quickly and yummy.
