Nice food, good size portions. Very traditional interior decoration.
Lacked atmosphere, not very busy.

During a recent 3-day weekend in Barcelona, we were recommended a trip to YaYa when we asked our hotel concierge for a very local, non-touristy authentic Catalan restaurant. And we were so happy with our meal, we went back a 2nd night.
The food and the decor is very old school -- with just enough authentic kitch you'll feel like you've been transported to 1970s Spain.
YaYa's is run by two brothers who could not be more charming. And the prices are extremely reasonable.
If you can't decide what to order, just ask one of the brothers — they won't steer you wrong.
We had wonder food off the specials menu. Service was friendly and quick. Two brothers own and operate the restaurant. Both chatted with us to discuss where we were from and both were friendly and interested. We would definitely eat here again if our itinerary allows for it. It is not a chain and fills the local population around Sagrada Familia. Highly recommend.
If you are looking for tradicional spanish food you should definietly visit this place!
All paltes are so so good!
This is a very good restaurant very close to the Sagrada Família. They offer catalan food in general, but they have an specialty in cod dishes which they cook in very different ways. The one with ‘spinachs Cream’ is amazing, but also many others as the one ‘amb samfaina’.
