Very clean and tidy . We were located on the first floor, no balcony or nice view from the window, but didn't really need that to be honest. However few essential things could change things a lot, such as including a kettle, iron and a hair dryer in the room would have been great. Especially the kettle. Other than that, it was city centre based , close to shops, cafes, restaurants and main streets.
We stayed in the hostel for 4 nights in August, 2017. Room was very clean, we had separate bathroom, balcony with the view on the main street. Hostel is located in the city center, 1 minute from Universitat metro station, 7 minutes from Placa Catalynya. Guys on the reception were very helpful, explained how to get to various places, etc.. We enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend this hostel.
Worth the price, location very good, just right outside of the Metro Universitat. Walking distance to Catalunya. There's a lot of supermarket around the area..
The room is clean, spacious and specially clean shared bathroom is more important.

If you are visiting Barcelona and have need of emergency care – you are without doubt, in the best place in the world for great care. Although I speak Spanish, I was uncertain how to find a doctor – so I asked the hotel reception. They kindly called a doctor and after describing my symptoms, the doctor recommended that I go immediately to the clinic as tests would be needed. I would be expected.
True to his word, when I arrived at Delfos Hospital, I was easily directed to reception. They had my name and within 5 minutes, I was taken into Emergency care. From that point on, everything happened quickly and with such care. Within two hours I had an electrocardiogram, blood work, CT scan, and many other kinds of analysis which resulted in the diagnosis of acute appendicitis. I was going to surgery! We briefly addressed insurance issues and within the next few hours, emergency surgery was performed. I awoke in recovery surprised at the efficiency and great care that had been taken. Every step of the pre-operative care was explained to assure that you understood what was going to occur and attention given by the support team to how you felt. The after-care was also a pleasant surprise. The rooms in the new wing of Delfos Hospital are modern, some with suites allowing a family member to easily have a place to sleep while staying with you. The rhythm of the nursing care is different than in the United States. It is much more natural here and less invasive. As a result of the great care and guidance received, I am ready to travel, after a unique and extremely positive experience in Barcelona.
Perfect location in center of Barcelona, from metro station you walk out straight to hostel's door. You can leave your bags for free after check-out.
Part of staff don't speak english at all. Room was clean but a lot of noise from building's facilities during the night. Internet is some kind of misunderstanding, it works like a dial-up connection.
