Very centrally located hotel to sightsee and surrounded by great shops. The staff and service were excellent! The continental breakfast offered several tasty options.
We will definitely book here again on our next trip to Barcelona.

We stayed 3 nights. First of all we arrived at 12:00 and they said we can not get into room before 15:00 and we had an appointment and requested to get room key before 15:00 but they kept waiting us.. We have left our sweater in the room and called them , e-mailed them , but they did nor replied neither our e-mails nor calls. We are not going to prefer this hotel again, because we could get suck weak service at cheap hotels..

I debated on writing a review but as I reflected on the hotel and how much we paid, I felt I needed to share our experience.
Pros-Location, the front doorman who helped us with our room key issues, and cleanliness (until we had ants.)
Cons- We stayed in the ‘best suite in the hotel’ only to have trouble with our room key FOUR times and the supposedly new employee at the front desk ‘mistakenly’ told me everything in our room was extra cost, including the coffee and champagne. The hotel offered us free breakfast on our last day, which really did not make up for the terrible service and at the price we paid for our room.
We’ve been to Barcelona before and I wanted to splurge on the hotel so my family can have a memorable experience. I tried to make the best of the situation.
Definitely won’t go back here again. There are so many other hotels in the area with better service.

The coffee in the room is included in all our suites, as well as the complimentary cava provided on the day of arrival. The minibar, however, is chargeable and clearly indicated with the price list. We do not understand the confusion regarding this and apologize for any misunderstanding.
We also regret that you experienced issues with your room key and that our offer to invite your entire family to breakfast did not seem like adequate compensation for these inconveniences.
Regarding the ants, as your suite features a large terrace with vegetation, it is possible they may have entered the room. We apologize for any discomfort this caused.

Basically? Either the rooms are tiny or my partner and I were screwed over.
We paid for a superior room and they upgraded us to a deluxe. But the room seems a lot smaller than what we were expecting based on the pics.
We paid extra for a room with two chairs so we could share a drink before heading out. We got a room that would be nice for one person? But for two it's a bit odd. Just a bed looking at a TV and nowhere for two ppl to sit a talk. I won't be booking again and I'll be more skeptical of room pics.
