Perfect in every way! Made to feel so welcome by all members of staff. We booked a superior room which had 2 double beds, plenty of space, storage etc and a lovely view of Placa de Catalunya. Breakfast was superb, plenty of choice. Loved how the hotel is relatively small so never felt busy.
Ideally located for everywhere in the city- spent the days happily wandering around, exploring the city and on the beach . Pool area was a bonus too. Will definitely return!

Can't fault the staff who are all very friendly and helpful or the hotel hotel , reception are small but the rest of the hotel is beautiful and very clean . Breakfast was lovely something for every taste . It was my birthday whilst there and came back after a day out and a bottle of fizz , cake with grapes and balloons where left in our room which was such a lovely surprise. The hotel is situated in a great area to explore and felt very safe would definitely stay here again

Having booked the hotel based on TA reviews we were a little concerned when we arrived to find a very small entrance and reception area. But from the moment we received a very warm welcome from the reception staff and were shown the upper floors of the hotel and our room on the 7th floor we were very pleased with our choice,
We had a room with a terrace overlooking Placa de Catalunya and in the distance, the Med. The room was clean and nicely decorated and though not large was totally sufficient for my wife and I. I particularly loved the powerful rainfall shower, which was very welcome after walking around Barcelona.
We ate in the restaurant twice, mainly because of the heavy rain earlier this week and the food was very good, and a special thanks to Javier who was very patient with my limited Spanish.
I also thought the breakfasts were fine, with fresh eggs cooked to order and a reasonable selection of other breakfast goods. This is not a big hotel so they are not going to have a large selection of produce, but nonetheless it was very good.
All the staff were very helpful with my wife who is in a wheelchair so we would like to thank them all for being so kind.
We were not able to use the pool area because of the inclement weather, but if we go to Barcelona again I would happily stay at this hotel.

Great location and very nice, attentive staff. Good shower, good a/c, comfortable beds. The things that bothered us were small, none a big deal, but looked like attempts to save money and not expected in a 4-star hotel:
- one should not have to ask for a new tiny piece of soap, or a new packet containing 3 tissues; these should be replenished daily.
- there were days when we came back to the room after 2 pm and the room was still not done. We'd just ask for toiletries and maybe towels, and we understand, priority was probably given to rooms for new guests, but still...
- on other stays at other Catalonia hotels, there was a daily complimentary bottle of water and chocolates at night. Here, only on the 1st day. Thankfully there is a place 2 doors up that sells water.
- breakfast was good, but not very varied
