Terrific spot to tour the Gothic and surrounding areas.In the middle of everything. Many great restaurants within walking distance. Although we were there in November we still spent time around the pool. Breakfast was excellent and helped to fuel the coming days adventures. Without exception the staff here were helpful, polite and willing to do whatever it took to meet our needs.

this hotel is in the perfect location. excellent facilities and very friendly staff. breakfast was really good as was the free wine and cheese at 17.00 and complimentary glass of champagne. couldnt fault the hotel would definately go back

Great location, near everything. Our 2nd stay. Swimming pool small, but great for a quick dip when really hot. Staff were lovely and very accomodating with requests. Room large

Hotel Catalonia cathedral is in convenient position to visit Barcelona historical centre. It is behind the cathedral, very charming and safe area. It is near to el born, perfect for tapas shopping and fun.
The hotel director and the other employees were very helpful in making my stay pleasant and comfortable not only by providing useful tips re Barcelona but also to support any need that I have during my stay.
I very much recommend this hotel for a high class experience dog Barcelona at reasonable prices.

Great expirence at check in as we were handed coupons for a glass of champagne in the bite bar. Room was very clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable.
Great location with a lot of energy in the courtyard between the hotel and 15th century cathedral (which was spectacular).
Also within walking distance to the shopping on Las Ramblas street.
Only slight thing to know is is that taxis can on drop off in from if hotel so you need to sluff your bags about 100 yards from corner drop off to hotel. But front desk superstar "Pol" took our (3) Suitcases to the taxi area and got us a cab upon departure.
Highly recommend based on Ambience, cleanliness, Location, and staff friendliness
