Would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed at Granados 83 for 8 nights although it was originally supposed to be 7. Due to a series of events we had to fly in a day early and fortunately they had availability for us. We went to Barcelona at the end of September so it’s just towards the end of the busy season. The staff were all incredibly helpful and kind and accommodating. We unfortunately had a leak in our room the first night and they handled the situation very professionally and quickly and moved us the next day to another room. They were very apologetic, although it’s part of owning a building. These things happen and it’s certainly no ones fault. But they were incredibly accommodating and we really appreciated all their staff. The only reason I give 4 stars is because the rooftop bar didn’t seem to ever be open even though it’s advertised as open everyday year round. The only times it was open was when it was booked for private events.

Beautiful Barcelona

Had a wonderful stay. Central located but on a quiet street. Room was very comfortable with nice balcony. Very comfortable bed. Had nice small rooftop pool. Front desk was very helpful giving suggestions.

Great location for Local fine dining

Off the main areas, this hotel offers a peaceful area to retreat to from the maddening crowds! Small but very pleasant rooftop terrace and plenty of dining options within 5 minutes walking make this hotel a great place to stay

Unremarkable hotel with small beds

This hotel is located in an excellent spot, within close walking distance of nicer, off-the-beaten track restaurants and shops. It’s also very quiet, which is great. However, our check-in process wasn’t good (we received the keys and entered a room where people were already unpacked...). The guy on reception didn’t seem to care much, but got it sorted in fairness. The following things are not great, for the money:
- there are public, semi private and private pools. Be sure you know which you have access to, as you could be disappointed that you can’t get near a pool (as we were)
- the beds are, honestly, TINY. We had a room with a balcony, but maybe if you get a suite they’re bigger? Ours was the equivalent of a UK double, which feels minuscule after a king size.
- pillows are dreadful (a combo of continental square pillows and long skinny ones)
- no coffee-making facilities in the room. Maybe it says this on the booking, but I didn’t notice. A Nepresso or kettle would be good.
- the room was really clean, but the bathroom wasn’t.

We are delighted to know that our location was ideal for you, however we regret your stay wasn't completely satisfying. We sincerely apologise for the initial mistake with your room, we are glad we were able to rectify this promptly for you. We do wish to clarify that we do have Nespresso machines available in duplex and family rooms, in the other rooms this is only possible by previous request and according to the availability. We would like to let you know that the hotel has one public pool on the rooftop terrace for all the hotel guests, and as well two semi-private pools that are only accessible from our Duplex suites. Please accept our apologies. We encourage guests to let us know of any issues relating to comfort on site so we can find an immediate solution, nevertheless, we have noted you remarks relating to your pillows, bed and bathroom and handed them to the concerned department.

We hope you will give us another opportunity to welcome you for a more enjoyable stay in the future.

The fourth visit and just perfect.

This was our fourth visit to this hotel and each time it just gets better! We are already planning our fifth visit currently.
The staff are amazing, helpful kind professional and eager to share their knowledge of Barcelona with you.
The hotel rooms are fab. The beds are the best we have ever slept in and the electric shutter ensures a really good nights sleep. We both love it when the shutter goes up...watching the sun appear while we are still in bed!
The hotel lunch menu is amazing, and around the hotel there are several places to eat which are also very good. The position of the hotel is perfect...walking distance to all sights - Sagrada Familia ( 20 mins), Montserrat fountain( 30 mins), the beach via La Ramblas ( 40 mins and a really great walk past the food market and the boat harbour ) ect but its an absolute oasis of calmess when you get back to the hotel.
Well done to all the staff who ensured yet another wonderful stay. We wish every hotel we stayed in was of this high standard.
