Stayed here on a package with Transat Holidays years ago. It was a good choice - notel was small but well lccated, near a subway stop. Srevice staff were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent! I'd stay here again.

I really enjoyed this hotel. I mostly stayed in the hotel, just to relax before my flight back home. The rooftop was the best part and the views are amazing. Expect to see children at the pool on some days, sometimes screaming and being very loud. The TV in my room was not working but after telling the staff, they gave me free breakfast for the duration of my stay, which I thought was great of them to do. Overall, a good stay. The major attractions are a bit of a walk away from this hotel, but still a good location.

Nice hotel with good location. Metro is just few minutes away from here. We didn't spend too much time in the room, but the hotel was very clean and front desk staff is very nice and friendly. I love this place.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights last week. Reception is fine and staff very helpful. The rooms are atrocious,you couldn't move they are so small. Dreadful smell in corridors and bedroom smelled of stale cigarettes. I was told there was a bar and restaurant on floor _1 but it must have been hidden because all we could find was where they served breakfast. Breakfast was fine,but this hotel is by no means a 2star. It was our first visit to Barcelona and we enjoyed it so much fabulous city so much to see and do but sunotel junior was a total let down. I wouldn't recommend this hotel,maybe students would find it ok. Will definitely be back to Barcelona but not sunotel junior.

Please rest assured we have taken good note of your remarks related to the smell of cigarettes and sincerely regret your dissatisfaction, mostly because it’s forbidden to smoke in the whole Hotel. We lament that you couldn’t find our Bar-Restaurant Maya, we will have to improve our signage at the Hotel if it’s not well indicated. We would like to extend our sincere apologies for the imperfections of service you describe in your review and although your comments do not seem to match the usual feedback we receive both onsite and online, we will make sure to discuss your review internally so as to avoid giving this kind of impressions. Just had a short visit to Barcelona with my friends. We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful when we asked them questions as we were new to this city; for example we called them at 11 pm whilst out in the city to ask for advice on how to use the taxi system and they were patient, helpful and informed us what the best way to get a taxi was. They kindly gave us free vip entry tickets to the night clubs which on a student budget saved as €40 each as the clubs are expensive. The pool area was small but was lovely for a nice cool down. The water was very shallow but it did the job, the hot tub was warm not boiling. Over all we had a really enjoyable stay and would recommend if on a budget.

Myself and my sibling really enjoyed this hotel. The staff were really friendly and when we had an issue they dealt with it promptly; shower door got stuck. Aircon was on a nice temperature all day every day during our visit but could've been am issue if it got cold one day and we needed to adjust it. TV was small and didn't have any UK channels but we were out most of our days. I did like the upstairs swimming pool and a place to chill.
