The hotel room was spacious enough, the service was great,the hotel is in a decent area, you have some shops around,I walked all around but you have a bus station close enough. You are close to the beach and the park.

It is now April and I’m waiting for a refund of my money I paid for a 4* Hotel. I have worked in 5* Hotels for over 15 years. I booked a double room and got two single beds pushed together, the wood work in the room was thick with dust. Under the bed was dusty. I spent most of our first night coughing. The bathroom had the toilet holder hanging off the wall. The shower top was disgusting covered with grime and dust. The bath was dusty and didn’t have a plug, there where hairs in the drain,the grout was broken, the mirror had started to rust and the floor was dirty/dusty.
It was that cold I had to go down and ask to have a different room and was told he couldn’t do that as he wasn’t a manager and he would make a note for the morning so I then asked for the heat to be turned on and ask about the WiFi because it would not work in our room. The heat was not turned on and the WiFi did not work. I did not sleep very well with the cold and the dust. The second day they made no arrangements to move us. I have emailed the hotel several times after this and they just do. It respond. It’s a disgrace anyone who stays here and leaves a good review isn’t checking their hotel stays properly. I paid 382£ for three nights and i would have been better off in a hostel. Cleaner and treated better.

This is a great place to stay! We were actually booked at a different hotel around the corner, but were diverted here when they had some sort of maintenance problem. It seemed at least comparable, maybe a little nicer, so we just went with it. Nearby La Rambla, with easy access to shopping and restaurants. The beach is about a 15-20 minute walk. Comfortable beds, very clean room, with friendly staff. Breakfast buffet had plenty of options, and was a great start to our day. Only only negative had to do with the temperature of the room, which was a little warm and stuffy, with no way to really adjust cooler. Apparently, the AC doesn't work in February, so even though temperatures were quite mild (70 F during the day), the room was fairly warm. All in all, we would gladly stay here again.
