Great affordable alternative for families

We stayed as a family of 4 in one of the private 4bedded rooms which was fine for us . Clean , spacious 2 bunk bedded room with separate toilet and shower. Really nice neighbourhood, close to metro , walking distance to x2 Gaudi houses and sagrada familia to name a few close by land marks. Nice bar area in the evening. Obviously a v mixed clientele of young people travelling , young sport teams on tour and family so a bit noisy but nothing major. You have to pay for a few add ons like leaving luggage (reasonable just a few euros depending on how long you leave ) and towels €5 euro per towel. A great affordable option for a city break.

The place was very nice and had a great style and atmosphere, especially for young people. It was relatively cheap to stay there and it was very close to a metro station. The people working there were very welcoming and kind. I didn’t have any problems with my stay, neither with the facilities, nor with the roommates. 100% recommend this place for a short stay in Barcelona.

Overtall a bad experience concerning the staff. Bad service. The staff was rude and always in a bad mood. Got yelled at because we misunderstood the breakfast place. Also, there was an insect in the food at the breakfast. Very dirty breakfast area.
Room tip: Don’t eat the breakfast

DO NOT STAY HERE. THEY DO NOT HAVE THE AMENITIES LISTED. NO USEABLE KITCHEN. THEY ALSO INSTALLED FIXTURES POORLY THAT CAN THUS FALL ON YOU OR YOUR HEAD. CAFE WAS NEVER OPEN. MANAGEMENT ISN'T INTERESTED IN HELPING.
Room tip: don't stay here. anywhere else is better.

Second time here and I would choose again this hostel. Confortable beds, clean room, towels and sheets. People working really nice. They let us make the check in before time and they changed our room because we were not comfortable in the first one they offered us. I highly recommend this place for a short stay.
