The food is delicious. We ordered focaccia, spaghetti a la puttanesca and pizza. Coffee and limoncello for dessert. Nice and friendly service, and Mrs. Vanessa wonderful! You can see that this is a family restaurant and it is great! We will definitely be back!

The only difficult thing about this restaurant is getting in! You have to duck you head & then go downstairs to the sunken lounge. The place was recommended by my hotel & it didn’t disappoint. Typical Italian fare with a warm friendly atmosphere set by the lady running the place from the bar. I was in a hurry so enjoyed the spaghetti carbonara & a G&T (generous on the gin). Others around me were ordering we’d fired pizzas which look tasty. Approx Euro 9 for the pasta which appeared reasonable.

The warm welcome by the owner made us already feeling comfortable.

The interior was cozy and tasteful decorated.

We had a bottle of very nice housewine, a vinho verde.
For starters we had the focaccia and provolone. Best focaccia ever!

As for the main course, we had a fantastic tasting and generously topped pizza and a lubina (sea bass) with rice. The taste was wonderful and cooked to perfection, with passion. Wow!

I opted for a delicious culan de chocolate for dessert ( we shared this among the three of us).

Conclusion: this kind of food at very, very affordable price in Barcelona + the friendliness + the cozy interior = RARE!

Definitely a keeper!
