My stay at Jazz Hotel was absolutely delightful! The room was comfortable and spacious with plenty of room and very comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was great and the staff was really nice. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the city center and Universitat metro station. All in all, this was a great experience and I would highly recommend Jazz Hotel to anyone looking for a great stay in Barcelona.

I recently stayed in Hotel Jazz for 4 nights during a recent trip to Barcelona. It was the perfect choice - great value and location. I would definitely return.
Pros
- Location: I’d stay here again just for the location. We were in walking distance to so many things.
- Comfortable room: the room was sizeable and comfortable. There was a hairdryer, safe, blackout curtains, and tea and coffee making facilities (the most important things to me!).
- Friendly and helpful staff: Every interaction with the staff was great. They were so friendly and recommended a nice restaurant for dinner.
Cons
-Some minor issues with our room, but the hotel solved them as soon as we reported them - the shower hose was broken and needed to be replaced. We were also missing a stopper from the bathtub, so couldn’t take a bath on the first night.
If you’re a light sleeper, be aware that there’s some noise in the rooms that face the road. I’d recommend requesting a room that faces the side where the main hotel entrance is.

We spent a week. In general it was a good experience. First time in Barcelona with the family, so can't compare to any other hotel. So, I will provide just general observations.
Location is OK. Taxi drive from BCN airport is 15-20 minutes. It's near Plaça de Catalunya and La Rambla. So, plenty of shopping centres, bars, restaurants and stores around.
Staff is friendly and helpful. They provided a bottle of cava and cookies for my wife on her birthday (mentioned that when done the booking). So, that was really warm & nice. And well appreciated by us.
Family room was big enough for 3 of us. Sofa converted into bed wasn't the most comfortable but worked good for the rest.
Breakfast was nice! At first it looked as very small/limited choice but having in mind that they offer something different every morning - it was great experience.
We had a difficulty to get a taxi in super early morning hours, so reception staff helped us with that. And price was good!
The biggest issue was the noise from the surroundings. Windows are not blocking sound enough.

Bus from the airport (A1/A2) stopped 2min. from the hotel. On the way back, you have to walk 4min. Breakfast was prefect! Busy area work lots of shops and restaurants. Ramblas around the corner. Felt really safe as a woman alone! Rooms are beautiful. The only thing I didn't like were the pillows, but overall I had a good nightrest in that huuuuge bed. Will definitely come back to this hotel!
