As soon as we stepped into the hotel we were rudely spoken to. The lady at the desk, I’m assuming the manager told us ‘be quiet, this is a hotel’ like we were little children. We noticed other guests checking in had a warm smile and given a drink. We had none of that, when asked if we could have a drink we were told they were too busy.
Whenever we asked anything at the reception staff were abrupt and rude, no smile, the whole stay.
I paid privilege and the room was dusty and we had no welcome gift and had to ask for drink in our fridge.
When I went into the VIP privilege room by the bar, I got asked if I had paid for privilege and had to show my card as proof.
I believe we were treated differently compared to others staying at the hotel our whole stay.
The customer service needs to be improved, just a smile would make guests feel comfortable!!
My husband tried to organise a surprise in our room for me, for my 40th birthday and they told him they could not do it. It’s the worst 4* hotel I have ever stayed in!!
Location- is not the greatest, you’re surrounded by residential flats or abandoned buildings.
Food- breakfast was nice.
Spa- lady in the spa was nice.
Rooftop- very very small, you will be lucky if you get a sunbed, very packed. You can just about see a tiny bit if the sea.
I will never stay here again and it has put me off ‘H10’ hotels in general.
I would rather give my money to another hotel brand that’s more welcoming.
