The room 601 in which we stayed should not be available as a accommodation room (as it is a windowless room with no ventilation in the bathroom). It could be used as a maid's room but certainly not as a regular room at such a high price. Alternatively, after informing the customer about the above problems, it should be available at a clearly lower price in case that the customer decides to stay in.

The unique architecture of the Eixample district in Barcelona means not all rooms can have a view of the main street, but it is incorrect to state that the rooms are windowless.
We understand that you might not have found the view satisfactory; however, please be assured that the room size is compliant with legal standards and offers ample space. Additionally, we undergo regular inspections and adhere strictly to all safety and comfort regulations.

I booked HCC Taber for a 5 night stay in Barcelona. First off, the staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful with anything we needed. Multiple languages spoken which made everything a breeze. The hotel is located in an excellent location, walking distance to the center, gothic quarter, and everything in between. 2 blocks from Casa Balto, and right near all your major transportations stops including bus and subway. It was a great location for going out and exploring, and plenty to do, see and eat in the neighborhood. It was quiet at night so we slept well. We added daily breakfast to our stay which was a smart move. There was a variety of fresh items and hot food, all delicious. Small lounge area for sitting and talking at night along with a small bar in the lobby. Few things to note, but not deal breakers for me, and probably the norm since I don't travel outside the US much- There were no face cloths in the bathroom, and while the AC worked, it didn't get too cold, but was comfortable. Overall, great hotel for travelers and puts you right where you need to be!

A bit overpriced but it had all we needed. Decent breakfast and nice service personnel! Beds with quality mattresses and high level noise insulation windows (very much needed as you’re located in the middle of vortex) were very much appreciated.

The front desk staff was very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. The room is spacious and the balcony has a good view of Mount Tibidabo. Temple Expiatori del Sagrat Cor was beautifully lit up at night. The hotel may be a bit old but was kept very clean. It was comfortable to stay in. We had a great time walking around the area, including Pg de Gracia.

Air con was not working; staff gave us a fan on the 2nd night. The third night was the same issue again, finally, the issue had been solve on my last night of stay.

As you mentioned, our staff provided a fan on the second night when the air conditioning was not functioning properly. I can confirm that our technical service team did inspect and repair the air conditioning unit each morning following the reported issues. According to our maintenance reports, the unit was functioning correctly during the day, but unfortunately, it failed again during the night.
