We booked this hotel for 3 nights. We settled in our room but it was very hot inside. Tried the A/C but it didn't work. Talked to lobby and he said it's not working because of government restrictions. There was a foul smell also in the lobby something like sewage. We decided to move out & find another hotel.
Very bad experience
Amazing hotel with very friendly staff, great and clean rooms! I enjoyed every minute of my stay. The location of the hotel is perfect, next to the metro. I will come back for sure on my next trip to Barcelona ! I can recommend this hotel to everyone! Thank you again!
Overall, we enjoyed staying here. It is off a side street next to a small shopping centre (bull ring previously.) It is easy to walk to the metro or get a bus into the centre. We enjoyed walking up Monjuic to the castle from the hotel. The rooms are quite small, but well-thought out. The view over the neighborhood at the back wasn't the most desirable, but we didn't stay in our room much. The pool isn't worth bothering with. We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel, but there is a great little cafe on the corner 25 m away! I would stay here again, as I enjoyed the 'feel' of the hotel and its location.
Hola .....What an awesome hotel experience this place is . We stayed in a Junior Suite and loved it. The bathroom was like something out of a glamorous magazine. It was centrally located in Barcelona, and right near a big modern shopping centre. Actually a converted Bullring!! But best of all was beautiful senorita Christina . This wonderful reception lady was amazing and so warm and helpful to these touring Australians!!

Great things:
The air conditioning is second to none, and an absolute life saver when there’s a severe weather warning!
Always clean, tidy and well decorated rooms- did the job well.
Good service by the staff
Things to improve:
For a 4* hotel, boiling the kettle on the floor due to a short lead wasn’t great.
Nescafé sachets in the room wasn’t what I expected for the price- a coffee machine in the main reception area would go down very well with the clientele that stay here.
Little things like one face refreshing cloth when two people are staying, nicer toiletries.
The improvement points weren’t deal breakers and overall we loved our stay here. There is definitely a ‘type’ of person who stays here, and this appears consistent with previous reviews, but I can’t say it bothered us as we just got on with our holiday. The pool is small, but still great for what you need, as again you will likely spend most of your time out and about!
