I booked a table at this restaurant before arriving in Barcelona. I was captivated by the idea of being able to have a beef experience similar to the one in Japan in regard to services and beef quality. I opted for the Fukuroi menu. Right from the entrance, I was pleasantly surprised by the hostess dressed in traditional kimono and by the fact that we were offered wet and warm towels to wipe our hands. Then I experienced the excitement of discovering each dish. We chose to come back after a few days. High quality of the dishes for both experiences. We were really impressed by the impeccable service on the first visit, but the service was not that attentive during our second visit. I think it was a different shift, with new employees, slightly inattentive and a little confused: the grill was placed upside down, the explanations of the dishes were very quick, the meat was cut differently and the Fukuroi was not presented at the table before serving it.
I liked that they adjusted the menu according to intolerances - no spices and no pork.
Great job!
