I was a bit worried about staying here having read some of the previous reviews but the reason I’m leaving a review now is to reassure anyone who may be apprehensive and is looking for an affordable hotel just to get your head down in the evenings.

The room and lobby area were both spotlessly clean, the housekeeping staff were lovely, the bath was great too which was definitely needed after lots of walking around Barcelona! The location was perfect for me: area safe for a solo female traveller, near lots of little shops and bakeries and literally steps away from a metro station with a quick connection to everywhere you would want to go but also still walking distance from the Diagonal/Gràcia areas (I walked 50 minutes to La Rambla but it didn’t feel like that long at all because there’s so much to see and do on the way - definitely recommend that walk if you enjoy exploring on foot).

The only con I have is that the heating smelt like farts... but I didn’t actually need the heating on really, the room wasn’t cold, I just thought I might be chilly getting out of the shower (I wasn’t).

I really liked it, very clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing, so polite and friendly, the breakfast was really good and coffee was amazing. Very warm and friendly hotel, I highly recommend it!

This hotel is perfectly situated around the corner from el puxcet metro station. Everything is a tube ride away. The area aliens the girls is residential so you get to experience locals and speak Spanish well I did.
Excellent amenities surrounding the hotel, a tapas bar accross the street. Supermarket down road, hair dressers, laundry, cofee shops, brunch places, supermarkets.

In the restaurant at the entrance, there is hot water tap with tea drinks provided downstairs for free even if you don’t have breakfast. I used the Hot water as I brought my own coffee satchets.

Excellent customer service, all staff were friendly helpful and we left our luggage with them at the end of our stay nothing was too much trouble for them. Always service with a smile.

The room had a Clean comfy bed and I had the best sleeps! Amazing shower with different settings, rooms, beds all clean and just perfect.
Toiletries were provided, shampoo, shower gel/body lotion, shower cap, comb, soap etc

I had an Amazing stay and would definitely stay here again.
